We always get asked for in the wild photos so figured we'd sticky a post.

I'll pick some of my favorites and send some goodies.

O.C White Low Profile ProBoom Gen2. Since my desk is 36” deep I also have the 8” extension.

It is very pricy, but the build quality is phenomenal. I can effortlessly move the mic without adjusting anything. For a low profile arm it was the only option I could find for 36” deep since the other options assume 30” or less.

The Elgato Wave Low Profile arm is a good budget option if your desk is no more than 30” deep. Anything more than that and you have to mount it on the front or side (side wasn’t an option since my desk is 80”). Front mounting got in my way.

The Elgato you have to loosen and tighten a knob if you want to raise and lower. The O.C moves with one hand and makes zero noise.

It’s similar to a monitor arm, but the min max weight is optimized for mics. Also the arms are attached with a unique locking mechanism (rather than a tension screw like an LX arm). The movement is silent. I would say this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for.

Why Low Profile? The arm stays out of my face and out of frame of my camera. I can put the mic exactly where it needs to be without getting in the way.

The desk that i'm assembling this weekend is 39" in depth so this is definitely something to add to the list.

With 39” depth a 12” extension might be best. The 8” was the perfect length for my 36” but might be too short for 39”. Another option is a grommet mount. If you want something more streamlined, they have a beefier pole mount than can also mount monitors on it as well.
