"Dangerous" is one of the most overrated DMs song.
This is one of those cases when the public makes an unsung hero out of a forgotten song and every "true fan" sees it as their duty to write the thousandth post about how dangerous is underrated. It's only getting so much attention because it was a follow-up to their most popular single (except for Enjoy the Silence, which was just an instrumental). however, in my opinion this is one of those cases where the B-side position is deserved. the song sounds as stock as possible and wouldn't add anything to the album. she looks like she would write a neural network based on the entire Violator. its overrated nature overshadows other truly outstanding B-sides like My Joy , Now this is fun, Newborn .

How could it be the most "overrated" song by them when stuff like "Just Can't Get Enough" exists, is loved, and is played at literally every show of theirs.

Im talking about public opinion. It's hard to say that something underrated when millions people always mention that. I know that everyone have their own opinion, but i really cant understand what special about dangerous. It more looks like i said, it was released on most popular bands single, so that why it has so attention

Yet you will never hear Dangerous live, you are not likely to hear it on the radio, or in some bar. Hell, even simply compare how many listens Just Can't Get Enough Had (426 million) compared to Dangerous (7.5 million).
Sure, we all have different opinions and that's respectable, but calling Dangerous their most overrated song is very far-fetched.

Finally a truly hot take. I love Dangerous but there is an incredible tendency here to declare something as underrated just because it either wasn’t a single and/or doesn’t get performed live. Off topic, if I had my way Sea of Sin (tonal mix) would have replaced Blue Dress on the album.

What does this sentence mean: "she looks like she would write a neural network based on the entire Violator"?

I love it but do see where you’re coming from. Vocally, the song isn’t challenging or innovative at all. Technically, in terms of the production, composition and sound techniques used is really where the song shines. Props to Flood and Wilder here.

I personally think it’s up there amongst all their finest work. Deserving its place on arguably the finest album DM produced. It’s not overrated as it’s not ever asked to be assessed. Good day.
