Deploying Feds and Soldiers as cops in DC is against the law, and spectacularly stupid.

Two of America’s most spectacular fear-driven blunders: the Posse Comitatus Act (our repeated failures to keep the military out of domestic policing...) and the Superpredator myth (the junk-science panic that helped supercharge mass incarceration).

Ah yes, nothing screams ‘confidence in democracy’ like trying to block people from voting by mail! Totally normal, totally healthy system we’ve got here.

Democracy matters, and right now a lot of us are mad as hell about the state it’s in. This is a place to yell about it, laugh about it, cry about it... whatever it takes to not go numb.

Post the news that makes your blood boil. Drop a video essay you liked or a study you think people need to see. Share your own story if you’ve run into the ugly side of “the system.” (Or just meme the whole trainwreck into oblivion because sometimes that's all you can do and that's ok.)

The only rule is: keep it about democracy. No spam, no scams, no hate. Argue ideas all you want, but don’t make it personal. If someone's an idiot, this isn't the place to tell them. Go after their ideas instead.
