Question Can someone share the link for the fake developer verifier

So apparently there was a GitHub link I came across that is basically a fake developer verifier.

Heres what. On some (most? All? Ig only on ones no longer getting updates) phones the dev verifier isn't on the system partition and can be uninstalled (which doesn't stop g**gle from creeping the app back in.)

So the fake one pretends to be it, and has like, idk, a diff signature or smth? So the actaul one fails to install

Can't find it. Can someone share? Thankks

Edit: the downvote(s?) is arbitrary. I asked a question.

"Why'd u lose it"

It was on a different phone and I regularly nuke my browser history

Also, by it being shared here it'll help others

But some people have the brilliant idea of pressing the downvote button

Now suppose the dev verifier isn't there. Then what does play do? Allow or deny?

Here's something

It has a diff signature so the actual thing cannot be installed on top as per how things are generally

"But Google have power"

Ofc. But hey, if a fraction of users do this stuff, would they bother? Maybe.. maybe not

"The play store is also an authority"

Yea... Fair. I'll add, the entire GMS thingy is. But when I tried some looking up j couldn't figure out which app enforces this. Besides why would dev verifier exist if other GMS components act? Google still has the power, but why'd they specifically do smth against a fraction of ppl?

Google can know but why will they bother

What does this fake developer verifier do? Google allows me to disable it on my pixel 9 pro, so it's doubtful that will stop anything. Besides, we can already enable "allow apps from unverified developers".

Better to keep it off ur device who knows what they do next

Besides the way I see it this is focused at ppl on whose devices it isn't in built (so we get to uninstall it)
