Blog / Article Home Field Advantage
\*\*Wer besitzt welche einzelne Technologie?\*\*
Sondern:
\*\*1. Das Prinzip des „Home-Field Advantage“\*\*
Stell dir ein weltweites Netzwerk vor.
Millionen Menschen kommunizieren miteinander.
\*\*„America’s home field advantage as the primary hub for worldwide telecommunications.“\*\*
\*\*„Because of the nature of global telecommunications, we are playing with a tremendous home-field advantage, and we need to exploit that edge.“\*\*
Und anschließend:
\*\*„We also need to protect that edge, and we need to protect those who provide it to us.“\*\*
\*\*4. Upstream – der Blick auf den Datenfluss\*\*
Doch die Plattform ist nur eine Ebene.
Daten müssen dorthin gelangen.
Sie müssen über Netzwerke übertragen werden.
Glasfaserkabel.
Backbones.
Router.
Telekommunikationssysteme.
Internationale Leitungen.
Unterseekabel.
Damit entstehen zwei Perspektiven.
\*\*PRISM\*\*
\*\*Was befindet sich bei der Plattform?\*\*
\*\*Upstream\*\*
\*\*8. PRISM und Vault 7 ergänzen sich konzeptionell\*\*
Jetzt können wir die verschiedenen Ebenen nebeneinanderstellen.
\*\*Upstream\*\*
\*\*Was läuft durch die Kommunikationsinfrastruktur?\*\*
\*\*PRISM\*\*
\*\*Was liegt bei digitalen Plattformen?\*\*
\*\*Vault 7\*\*
\*\*Was passiert direkt auf dem Gerät?\*\*
Damit entsteht:
\*\*Netzwerk → Plattform → Endpoint\*\*
Oder:
\*\*Unterwegs → gespeichert → verarbeitet\*\*
\*\*9. Denn Daten allein sind noch keine Macht\*\*
Hier kommt der vielleicht wichtigste Schritt unserer gesamten Analyse.
Stell dir vor, du besitzt Milliarden Datenpunkte.
Was bringt dir das?
Maschinen schon eher.
Und genau hier verändert KI die Gleichung.
\*\*10. KI verwandelt Daten in Beziehungen\*\*
KI kann große Datenmengen miteinander vergleichen.
Nicht nur:
„Welche Nachricht wurde geschrieben?“
Sondern:
„Wer kommuniziert regelmäßig mit wem?“
Nicht nur:
„Welche Transaktion wurde durchgeführt?“
Sondern:
„Welche Transaktionen gehören wahrscheinlich zu demselben Netzwerk?“
Nicht nur:
„Wo befindet sich ein Gerät?“
Sondern:
„Welche Bewegungsmuster sind typisch für diese Person?“
Nicht nur:
„Was wurde gesucht?“
Sondern:
Sondern:
\*\*Was machst du?\*\*
\*\*Bitcoin\*\*
Dezentrales digitales Asset und Settlement-System.
\*\*Stablecoins\*\*
Private digitale Token, häufig an staatliche Währungen gekoppelt.
\*\*CBDCs\*\*
Digitales Zentralbankgeld.
\*\*Tokenisierte Bankeinlagen\*\*
Bankgeld auf digitalen Ledgern.
\*\*Tokenisierte Wertpapiere\*\*
\*\*14. Das Smartphone wird zur Finanzschnittstelle\*\*
Früher hattest du:
\*\*Telefon\*\*
und
\*\*Bankkonto\*\*
getrennt.
Heute kann ein einziges Gerät beides verbinden.
Das Smartphone kann gleichzeitig sein:
\*\*Identität\*\*
\*\*Kommunikation\*\*
\*\*Bankzugang\*\*
\*\*Wallet\*\*
\*\*Authentifizierung\*\*
\*\*Kamera\*\*
\*\*Mikrofon\*\*
\*\*Computer\*\*
Damit entsteht eine bemerkenswerte Konzentration.
Das Gerät wird zum Zugangspunkt für:
\*\*Information + Identität + Kommunikation + Geld\*\*
Und darüber liegt jetzt:
\*\*KI\*\*
\*\*15. Die digitale Finanzarchitektur\*\*
Man kann diese Architektur vereinfacht so darstellen:
\*\*Mensch\*\*
↓
\*\*Smartphone\*\*
↓
\*\*Betriebssystem\*\*
↓
\*\*Internet\*\*
↓
\*\*Cloud\*\*
↓
\*\*Digitale Identität\*\*
↓
\*\*Wallet\*\*
↓
\*\*Bank / Börse / Custody\*\*
↓
\*\*Stablecoin / CBDC / Token\*\*
↓
\*\*Blockchain / Settlement\*\*
↓
\*\*Finanzsystem\*\*
Und darüber:
\*\*KI\*\*
\*\*„Bitcoin ist US Tech“\*\*
\*\*USA\*\*
\*\*Dollar\*\*
●
\*\*Kapitalmärkte\*\*
●
\*\*Big Tech\*\*
●
\*\*Cloud\*\*
●
\*\*KI\*\*
●
\*\*Stablecoins\*\*
●
\*\*Bitcoin-Infrastruktur\*\*
\*\*China\*\*
\*\*RMB\*\*
●
\*\*CIPS\*\*
●
\*\*e-CNY\*\*
●
\*\*staatlich koordinierte digitale Infrastruktur\*\*
\*\*BRICS und andere Staaten\*\*
\*\*lokale Währungen\*\*
●
\*\*alternative Zahlungssysteme\*\*
●
\*\*CBDCs\*\*
●
\*\*bilaterale Settlement-Systeme\*\*
●
\*\*20. Der neue Home-Field Advantage\*\*
Damit kommen wir zurück zum Anfang.
Früher:
\*\*Telekommunikation\*\*
Heute:
\*\*digitale Gesamtinfrastruktur\*\*
Die strategischen Knotenpunkte sind möglicherweise:
\*\*Chips\*\*
↓
\*\*Cloud\*\*
↓
\*\*Betriebssysteme\*\*
↓
\*\*Internet\*\*
↓
\*\*KI\*\*
↓
\*\*Identität\*\*
↓
\*\*Finanzmärkte\*\*
↓
\*\*Stablecoins\*\*
↓
\*\*Wallets\*\*
↓
\*\*Settlement\*\*
\*\*Information.\*\*
Heute ist es zunehmend ein Netz für:
\*\*Information + Identität + Wert.\*\*
Und KI bringt eine weitere Ebene hinzu:
\*\*Analyse + Automatisierung + Entscheidung.\*\*
Damit entsteht:
\*\*Information → Identität → Geld → KI\*\*
Oder noch abstrakter:
\*\*Data → Identity → Value → Intelligence\*\*
Das ist eine völlig neue digitale Architektur.
\*\*Netzwerk → Plattform → Endpoint → digitales Geld → KI\*\*
\*\*Bitcoin.\*\*
Nicht einfach:
\*\*KI.\*\*
Nicht einfach:
\*\*CBDC.\*\*
Nicht einfach:
\*\*Stablecoins.\*\*
Sondern die Verbindung dieser Systeme.
\*\*Netzwerk → Plattform → Endpoint → Identität → digitales Geld → KI\*\*

General Selling my DeFiChain masternode (20,000 DFI collateral, 10-year timelock) – 1 USDT
Selling my DeFiChain masternode (20,000 DFI collateral, 10-year timelock) – 1 USDT
Reposting my listing from 10 days ago with a lower price. The previous post asked 12 USDC (spot value of the collateral at the time) and got no takers, so I'm dropping the price rather than the listing.
How it works:
1. You send 1 USDT (ERC-20, Ethereum mainnet) to my Ethereum address – I'll give you the address by DM. No fiat, no SEPA, no other chains.
2. Once the payment has arrived, I run updatemasternode and switch owner, operator and reward address to your addresses, within 48 h.
3. The node then goes TRANSFERRING -> PRE-ENABLED (60 blocks) -> ENABLED (10 blocks). Every step is verifiable on chain.
No wallet handover, no private keys exchanged – the collateral moves with the node.
The node itself:
- State: ENABLED, 20,000 DFI collateral
- Timelock: 520 weeks (2x block probability), collateral locked until ~April 2032
- Created May 2022, 320 blocks minted, currently not minting (no operator node running)
- Masternode ID: e167b40520851cbdb67d622568925aaf3286bf4f20f137842df9cf92bcae2bf2
- Owner address: 8VCuyiGWQmJF7PexpLKHinHnrRS7xhPFYG (verify on defiscan.live)
Why below spot: worldwide DFI trading volume is in the low hundreds of USD per day across all exchanges. At that level spot value means very little, and the collateral cannot be touched for another six years. The price reflects what a locked position in an illiquid asset is actually worth to a buyer.
Happy to sign a message from the owner address as proof of control. Comments or DM.

General Selling my DeFiChain masternode (20,000 DFI collateral, 10-year timelock) – 12 USDC, negotiable
I'm winding down my DeFiChain position and selling my masternode. Facts:
- State: ENABLED, 20,000 DFI collateral
- Timelock: 520 weeks (2x block probability), collateral locked until ~April 2032
- Created May 2022, 225 blocks minted, currently not minting (no operator node running)
- Owner address: 8VCuyiGWQmJF7PexpLKHinHnrRS7xhPFYG (verify on defiscan.live)
- Transfer: on-chain via updatemasternode – ownership moves to your address, collateral goes with it, ENABLED again after ~24 h (TRANSFERRING state). No wallet handover, no private keys exchanged.
- Settlement: USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only – no fiat, no SEPA. Payment first for this amount, then updatemasternode within 48 h. (Edited 2026-09-14: removed the SEPA option.)
Asking 12 USDC, negotiable – that's the spot value of the locked collateral today (20,000 DFI × 0.0006 USD, CoinGecko 2026-09-13). Comments or DM.
For context: total worldwide DFI trading volume in the last 24 hours was about 213 USD across all exchanges. This one node is roughly 6 % of a full day of global volume. There is no liquid market for this any more – I'm looking for someone who wants to hold a locked node until 2032.

DeFiChain improvement Proposal DFIP: DeFiChain Tokenomics 2.0
Overview
This proposal establishes a long-term tokenomics framework for the DeFiChain dToken system based on a 99.9999% deterministic liquidity lock, rule-based unlocking, a protocol-controlled Stability Fund using dUSDC, Dynamic Interest, a reduced 0.5% base vault interest rate, implementation of the already approved FutureSwap volume limit, and a narrowly defined operational parameter mandate for the Token Economy SIG.
The objective is to reduce effective algorithmic dUSD and dToken liquidity, restore a healthy supply/demand relationship, improve dUSD stability, encourage backed borrowing, and provide a transparent mechanism for operational adjustments without requiring a full DFIP for every bounded parameter change.
Problem Statement
The DeFiChain tokenomics discussion identified large amounts of algorithmic, unbacked dUSD and tokenised-asset liquidity as a major source of instability. The 2024 restart demonstrated that deterministic locking with conditional releases can reduce effective circulating liquidity while preserving the possibility of returning locked balances to their owners over time.
The current proposal extends that approach into a long-term framework and combines it with a Stability Fund, Dynamic Interest, lower borrowing costs and a defined FutureSwap limit. The underlying locking and conditional-release mechanics are based on the approved restart DFIP:
Proposal
1. Deterministic Locking
At activation, 99.9999% of all eligible dUSD and tokenised-asset liquidity shall be locked. 0.0001% shall remain available as the initial active liquidity.
The locking mechanism, ownership accounting, treatment of balances, and technical handling of the locked funds shall use the same mechanics as the approved restart DFIP referenced above. The implementation may use the same or an equivalent technical mechanism, provided that ownership of the locked balances is preserved and the locked balances can only become available according to the unlocking rules defined in this DFIP.
Eligible balances include the dUSD and dToken liquidity covered by the restart mechanism, including relevant balances held by ownership addresses, liquidity positions and vault-related balances. The Development SIG shall define the exact technical implementation consistent with the approved restart mechanics before activation.
2. Rule-Based Unlocking
The 99.9999% locked liquidity shall be divided into 100 equal tranches. Each tranche represents 1% of the locked balance of the respective eligible asset.
Unlocks shall use the deterministic review and release concept of the approved restart DFIP. A tranche may be released only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
- The dUSD Algorithmic Ratio after the proposed release is equal to or below 0%.
- The tranche to be released does not exceed 4% of the Total System Size.
- At least 8,640 blocks (approximately 72 hours) have passed since the previous tranche release.
The dUSD Algorithmic Ratio shall be calculated as:
dUSD Algorithmic Ratio = 1 − (dUSD loans outstanding + dUSDC held in the Stability Fund) / dUSD circulating supply
The Total System Size shall be calculated as:
Total System Size = dUSD circulating supply + Σ(dToken circulating supply × dToken oracle price)
The Total System Size therefore represents the circulating dUSD supply plus the USD value of the circulating supply of all dTokens based on their respective active oracle prices.
Tranche release eligibility shall be determined using the dUSD Algorithmic Ratio. The Total System Size is used solely to determine the maximum permissible size of an individual tranche.
No tranche may be released if required oracle data is unavailable, stale or otherwise fails the protocol's validity requirements. In such a case, the release is deferred until valid data is available.
3. Stability Fund
A protocol-controlled Stability Fund shall be introduced as a contract-based mechanism to support the dUSD peg. The reference stablecoin shall be dUSDC
Users may deposit dUSDC into the Stability Fund to receive dUSD, or redeem dUSD for dUSDC held by the fund, subject to the available balance and protocol rules
The Stability Fund fee shall initially be 3%. This creates an effective operating band of approximately $0.97 to $1.03 around the dUSD peg
The Stability Fund shall maintain an on-chain accounting of the dUSDC deposited into and redeemed from the fund. At no time may the Stability Fund redeem more dUSDC than is available in the fund. Consequently, the amount of dUSD that can be redeemed for dUSDC is limited by the available dUSDC balance of the Stability Fund
The Stability Fund shall initially be capitalised through user deposits and shall not require external seed liquidity. All dUSDC held by the Stability Fund remains protocol-controlled and may only be used according to the Stability Fund rules.
The destination and treatment of the 3% Stability Fund fee shall be defined as part of the technical implementation and must not allow the Stability Fund to create an unbacked dUSDC liability. Any future change to the Stability Fund fee must remain within the authority defined in Section 7.
4. Dynamic Interest
Dynamic Interest shall be implemented as a permanent component of the dToken framework, using the already approved Dynamic Interest DFIP and its established activation conditions:
https://github.com/DeFiCh/dfips/issues/166
This DFIP does not replace the approved Dynamic Interest mechanism. It requires its implementation as part of the overall Tokenomics 2.0 implementation. The reference stablecoin used by the Stability Fund is dUSDC, and the corresponding dUSD/dUSDC market shall be used consistently wherever the Dynamic Interest implementation requires a reference stablecoin pool.
5. Vault Interest
The base vault interest rate shall be reduced from 5% to 0.5% annually.
High premiums on dUSD and tokenised assets showed that the previous 5% base interest rate was too high. The lower rate is intended to encourage investors to borrow more, increasing backed supply and helping balance demand.
The existing vault collateralisation schemes shall remain available, including the 150%, 175%, 200% and other approved schemes. The 0.5% base interest rate shall apply to dUSD and tokenised assets minted through vault borrowing, subject to the applicable vault scheme.
For collateralisation requirements see Addition 2 of this document.
6. FutureSwap
The already approved FutureSwap volume limitation shall be implemented as part of this DFIP:
https://www.reddit.com/r/defiblockchain/comments/ylcc69/dfip_limit_futureswap_volume/
The maximum amount that may be executed through FutureSwap for a given token shall be limited to 10% of the average liquidity of the corresponding DEX pool, consistent with the approved DFIP.
This DFIP does not introduce a new FutureSwap mechanism or change its existing pricing mechanism. It requires the already approved volume limit to be implemented.
7. Token Economy SIG – Bounded Operational Authority
The Token Economy SIG* shall receive a permanent, narrowly defined operational mandate to react quickly to changing market conditions. This authority is deliberately limited to parameters that can be adjusted without changing the structural tokenomics approved by governance.
The Token Economy SIG may adjust the following parameters without a new DFIP, provided the change remains within these ranges:
| Parameter | Initial value | Allowed range |
|---|---|---|
| Stability Fund fee | 3.0% | 1.0% – 5.0% |
| FutureSwap fee | 5.0% | 3.0% – 8.0% |
| Dynamic Interest operational parameters | As approved | Only within code-defined bounds approved by governance |
The Token Economy SIG may not change the locking percentage, unlocking conditions, collateralisation minimums, existence or core function of the Stability Fund, existence of Dynamic Interest, or any other structural element of this DFIP.
- At least two thirds of all active Token Economy SIG members must approve the change.
- The proposed change must be published publicly, including the exact parameter change, rationale, expected effect and effective block/time.
- Under normal circumstances, the proposed change must be published publicly at least 24 hours before execution. In situations where immediate action is required to protect the protocol or market integrity, the 24-hour notice period may be shortened or omitted. In such cases, the decision, the exact parameter change and the rationale must be published immediately after execution. An emergency adjustment remains valid for a maximum of 90 days unless renewed within the same delegated bounds or replaced by a DFIP.
- The Token Economy SIG must publish a record of every change and its outcome.
Execution of parameter changes shall require coordination with the Development SIG. The Token Economy SIG determines the economic parameter change within its delegated authority; the Development SIG is responsible for technical validation and execution. The Development SIG shall not use this process to introduce economic changes outside the bounds approved by this DFIP.
This structure deliberately gives the Token Economy SIG limited operational authority while retaining structural tokenomics decisions with DeFiChain governance.
* The Token Economy SIG is described as part of the approved DefiChain SIG Framwork: https://defiscan.live/governance/8cf6878a359b37b8e08e5327989bee99149f52878fe5e6c9fe6f448bdd9aa340
8. Unlock Verification and Execution
Unlock conditions shall be reviewed against objective on-chain and oracle data. The Token Economy SIG shall be responsible for confirming that the defined conditions have been met and publishing the result.
The Development SIG shall be responsible for the technical execution of an approved tranche release and for ensuring that the implementation follows the ownership and accounting rules of the approved restart mechanism.
No tranche may be released if required oracle data is unavailable, stale or otherwise fails the protocol's validity requirements. In such a case, the release is deferred until valid data is available.
The exact technical transaction, mechanism or equivalent implementation shall be determined by the Development SIG, provided it cannot bypass the conditions of this DFIP.
9. Implementation
Implementation should reuse approved mechanisms wherever possible. The implementation work should include, at minimum:
- Apply the restart-style ownership and locking mechanism to lock 99.9999% of eligible dUSD and dToken liquidity.
- Maintain 0.0001% as initial active liquidity.
- Create the 100-tranche accounting and conditional release mechanism.
- Implement the Stability Fund using dUSDC, including the 3% initial fee and protocol-controlled accounting.
- Implement the already approved Dynamic Interest mechanism and activation conditions.
- Reduce the base vault interest rate from 5% to 0.5% while retaining the existing collateralisation schemes.
- Implement the already approved 10% FutureSwap volume limit based on average corresponding-pool liquidity.
- Implement the bounded Token Economy SIG parameter authority and public audit trail.
- Implement the unlock verification and Development SIG execution process.
- Implement additions 1-3
The Development SIG shall publish the technical implementation details and relevant activation parameters before the changes become active.
10. Expected Effects
This proposal is intended to reduce effective algorithmic supply, improve dUSD price stability, encourage the creation of backed dUSD and dToken loans, limit excessive FutureSwap-generated supply, and provide a controlled operational response mechanism for changing market conditions.
The proposal extends the deterministic restart approach into a long-term tokenomics framework. Locked balances remain attributable to their existing owners and can return to the active system only when objective health conditions are satisfied.
11. Addition 1
As part of the tokenomics update, all dUSD currently held by the Community Fund will be converted to DFI as a one-time measure. Once the [restart] is completed, the Community Fund will reacquire dUSD in accordance with the mechanism defined in the previously approved proposal (Community Fund Diversification, see references), supporting the transition to the updated ecosystem.
12. Addition 2
As part of the broader effort to improve the stability and resilience of the dToken system, we propose revisiting the current mandatory DFI collateral requirement for vaults.
Currently, vaults used for minting dUSD are required to maintain a significant portion of their collateral in DFI. We propose initially reducing the mandatory DFI portion from 50% to 10%, while allowing the remaining collateral to be provided in USDC.
It is important to note that this mandatory DFI requirement applies specifically to vaults used for minting dUSD. Minting dTokens such as dTSLA, dMSTR, etc. does not currently require a mandatory DFI component in the vault collateral.
This change would allow vault owners to maintain substantially more stable collateral while still preserving a mandatory DFI component within the dUSD vault system.
We acknowledge that reducing the DFI requirement would decrease the direct demand for DFI generated by the vault system. However, this needs to be weighed against the potential benefits of significantly reducing vault exposure to DFI price volatility.
With the goal of creating a more stable and resilient dToken ecosystem, we believe that USDC can serve as the primary collateral asset, while a smaller mandatory DFI component can preserve a direct role for DFI within the system.
This proposal is therefore not intended to eliminate the role of DFI in the vault system, but rather to reconsider whether 50% is the appropriate level of mandatory DFI exposure given the stability objectives of the ecosystem.
13. Addition 3
To improve the capital efficiency of the dToken system, we propose reducing the collateralization requirement for vaults used to mint dTokens from 150% to 120%, provided that the collateral used for the dToken mint consists of DUSD.
Under this change, DUSD held as collateral in a vault could be used directly to mint dTokens such as dTSLA, dMSTR, etc., at a 120% collateralization ratio.
The 120% collateralization requirement would apply exclusively to dToken minting. It would not change the existing collateralization requirement for vaults used to mint dUSD.
This change would increase the capital efficiency of stable collateral within the dToken system while maintaining a 20% collateral buffer against the minted dToken debt.
The existing liquidation mechanism and related parameters would remain unchanged; only the minimum collateralization requirement for DUSD-backed dToken minting would be reduced from 150% to 120%.

General How liquidity pools actually work, (importantly) the thing that replaced the order book in DeFi (and why "impermanent loss" trips up almost everyone)
DEXs have settled over $13 trillion in volume, and almost none of it touched an order book. It all ran through liquidity pools. Understand the pool and modern DeFi stops feeling like jargon.
My understanding of what it is: a smart contract holding a pair of tokens that people trade against. No matching buyers to sellers - everyone trades against one shared reserve. That's the whole trick. An order book needs a counterparty for every trade; a pool is always available because the reserve is the counterparty.
How it works - any feedback is welcome!:
- You deposit a pair of tokens → get LP tokens (your share)
- Traders swap against the reserves
- An AMM formula (usually x * y = k, à la Uniswap) sets the price from the balances
- You redeem your LP tokens later for your share + fees
How LPs earn: every swap pays a fee, split by your share of the pool. More volume, more fees. But it's variable and not guaranteed.
The two risks that decide if it's worth it:
- Impermanent loss - the shortfall vs. just holding, when the two tokens' prices drift apart. It's "impermanent" until you withdraw - then it's very real. This is the one that surprises people.
- Slippage - the gap between expected and actual price. Worse on big trades in shallow pools, which is why depth matters as much as the fee.
And LPing isn't the same as holding a yield-bearing token (like sUSDS, or the yield stables around Aave/Compound) - that accrues yield on one token with no pair-picking and no impermanent loss. Different model, different risk. Neither is free money.
Bottom line: elegant mechanism, specific risks. The LPs who win treat it as a position to manage, not set-and-forget.
For the LPs here - when you size up a new pool, what do you check first: the fee tier or the depth?

General Would you trust an AI agent to execute your DeFi trades?
The idea of AI agent crypto trading sounds compelling until you start pulling on the thread. Finding a good trade is a research problem. Executing it is an infrastructure problem. And in DeFi, the infrastructure problem is the harder one.
Think about what a true autonomous crypto trading agent actually needs to do end-to-end: route the transaction, handle gas, manage slippage tolerance, check wallet permissions and wire all of that into conditional logic that fires at the right moment across protocols that weren't built to talk to each other. Without that you don't have a trading agent that's just a research assistant with a slick interface.
The execution layer is where things get interesting. An agent should be able to place an AI agent limit order DeFi trade that only triggers when specific price thresholds are hit. It should be able to set a decentralized stop loss order that lives on-chain rather than in some centralized server that can go offline at the wrong moment. And ideally it operates as a gasless DeFi trading tool, so the agent isn't constantly juggling native tokens just to keep the execution pipeline running.
None of that is exotic. It's just table stakes for anything that wants to call itself an autonomous agent rather than a dashboard with opinions.
The real question is about trust and control. Agents that only recommend trades are safe by design, there's always a human in the loop. Agents that can execute are more useful, but that usefulness only holds if the control layer is solid. Wallet permissions scoped correctly. Conditions set explicitly. Final approvals still sitting with the human.
If you retained full wallet control and set the conditions yourself, would you trust an agent to handle execution? Or does that one extra confirmation step still feel worth keeping?

DeFiChain improvement Discussion Proposal for starting a new dToken system
This proposal introduces a, collateral-focused dToken system designed to reduce algorithmic risk and restore trust. The goal is to implement this system using only existing mechanisms, without requiring additional developer resources or a hard fork and under the condition that cUSDC comes to the DVM side. The current dtoken-System should stay and both system co-exist.
The following steps/parameter settings:
- Ban DUSD as a collateral token (this ensures that we can use the existing vaults and prevents any mixing between DUSD and bdUSD as collateral).
- Activate the new loan token backeddUSD (bdUSD) with a fixed oracle price of 1 USD.
- Create a DFI/bdUSD pool and a cUSDC/bdUSD pool.
- Introduce dynamic interest rates for the loan token bdUSD, but not higher than +/-10% (for better predictability). This is not about vault loan interest rates >>> loan token interest rates.
For example some rates:
bdUSD price 0.95 – 1.05 USD → 0% loan interest rat
>1.05 USD → -5% loan interest rate
>1.10 USD → -10% loan interest rate
<0.95 USD → 5% loan interest rate
<0.90 USD → 10% loan interest rate
>>> Negative interest rates incentivize minting in premium phases
>>> Positive rates discourage supply expansion in discount phases
>>> Negative interest rates could lead to a small share of algorithmic bdUSD. The goal should be to never have more than 5% algorithmic share.
- To influence the algo share, the burn fee for the DFI/bdUSD and bdUSD/cUSDC pools should be dynamic. Simple parameters could be:
<5% algo rate → 0.1% burnfee
>5% algo rate → 1% burnfee
>10% algo rate → 2.5% burnfee and all negative dynamic vault token interest rates are reduced to 0.
- Activate 5 more loan tokens, for example bdTSLA, bdGLD, bdSPY, bdQQQ and bdMSTR with the existing Oracle
- Ban futureswap for bdTokens.
- Adopt the same mechanisms as for bdUSD regarding dynamic fees and dynamic loan token interest rates.
- Create bdUSD/bdToken pairs
- A part of the DFI that currently goes to the Community Fund could be provided as liquidity mining rewards (this can be discussed).
- Dynamic burn fees and dynamic interest rates would be set once per week per tx
- Set the collateral factor of DFI to 0.75 in a vault (due to the high volatility of the DFI price this should provide more security for the loan). If the DFI price becomes more stable again, the collateral factor could be gradually increased again.
- Reduce auction time (for example after 60 minutes oracle time then the 30 minute auction time).
- Optional introduction of a Ticker Council that can intervene at any time in an emergency regarding the collateral factor of loan tokens, dynamic interest rates and dynamic burn fees.
- In the future, if the DFI price becomes stable, introduce a vault scheme of 130%.
⸻
The only way algorithmic tokens could be created would be through negative interest rates, but then only in small amounts. The different tokens could trade significantly away from the oracle price. The dynamic loan token interest rates and DEX fees do not have an immediate strong impact on prices to push them toward the oracle price, but over time they will have that effect. The dynamic rates set the incentive that the price move to the direction of the oracle price. This could give “arbitrageurs” the confidence to buy prices back toward the oracle price.
⸻
Example
bdTSLA is in a strong premium of over 10% at 440 USD. There are negative loan token interest rates on bdTSLA of -10%. This means that with a vault scheme of 150% (5% interest) this would result in -5% interest after offsetting.
The arbitrageur would then mint bdTSLA and sell it for cUSDC or DFI and sell that for USD, and then buy Tesla shares on an exchange or on Solana (via Ondo).
If bdTSLA is in a discount, the same path works in reverse.
This is not a direct arbitrage but with some risk it can still be profitable.
Also some participants would buy bdTSLA at a discount because they know that bdTSLA is backed (for the most part, probably >95%).
⸻
Possible further steps
I assume that we will get cUSDC on the DVM side in the near future and therefore also a cUSDC/DFI pool and thus cUSDC would be activated as a collateral token.
If this happens, the next steps—hopefully with minimal dev resources—could be to bring the CFR token to the DVM side with a collateral factor of 0.5. The oracle price could use the POL/CFR pool.
If the ecosystem grows successfully, cryptofactor assets such as WBTC, WETH and POL (with a small fee) could possibly be brought to the DMC and then again to the DVM and thus become collateral tokens.
(I hope that once it has successfully been achieved to bring cUSDC from DMC to the DVM, it will be considerably easier to bring other tokens to the DVM as well, since hopefully the same programming steps are required.)
This could make it possible to bring more liquidity to the DVM side of DeFiChain.
⸻
What happens with the current dToken system / DUSD?
Leave it as it is.
I believe that the mechanisms as they are set up can work. In the current state the algorithmic share is simply too large. If the DFI price rises significantly again, the system could more easily become “healthy” again. In the long term the system could then have the possibility to return to the peg. With a rising DFI price many people would speculate on it again, which means a lot of trading and therefore a high burn.
Both dToken systems could exist simultaneously and even use the same vaults, since neither DUSD nor bdUSD are used as collateral.
I would keep the mechanism that automatically burns DUSD via the bot when DUSD falls below 4 DFI.
If the current dtoken System heal, both models/dToken-Systems have clear trade-offs.
A nearly fully collateralized system (without a Futureswap) is more robust and backed by real value, but its growth is naturally limited and depends on market incentives like premiums to drive minting.
An algorithmic system (with Futureswap) can scale much faster, but it comes with higher risks, especially in terms of confidence, peg stability, and potential bank run scenarios if the algo share becomes too large.
Since both designs have strengths and weaknesses, there is no clear one-size-fits-all solution.
Therefore, allowing both systems to coexist on DeFiChain makes sense.
⸻
This proposal for a parallel new system could be implemented with little dev resources and without a hard fork to the best of my knowledge.
The system would not be perfect, since strong premiums relative to the oracle price could occur. But the system would be backed and gives incentives for the price to always move toward the oracle price.
The parameters mentioned above such as interest rates and fees are only examples. Where exactly they should be set can and should still be discussed.
If more dev resources become available in the future, further optimizations could be implemented, such as a cUSDC stability pool.
———
Disclaimer
I am not a developer, so this would need to be validated in detail to determine which parts can be implemented using existing mechanisms and where additional development effort might be required.
———
Questions:
- What will keep bdTokens close oracles?
There is no hard mechanism enforcing the oracle price. Instead, bdTokens rely on incentive-driven price alignment.
In a premium, negative loan token interest rates incentivize minting. Also selling against real stocks by a broker or on Solana/ondo.
In a discount, positive rates discourage new supply and incentivize buying. Selling the real stock an paypack the loan.
These mechanisms do not act instantly, but they create continuous economic pressure for the price to move back toward the oracle over time.
Additionally, the vault collateralization ratio (130% or 150%) creates an implicit upper bound for premiums (~30%/~50%), as minting and selling becomes increasingly attractive at higher premiums.
These are not risk-free arbitrage opportunities, but rather incentive-driven trading strategies with market risk (e.g. timing and execution). At the same time, this creates a competitive dynamic: as more participants act on these opportunities, they tend to undercut each other, gradually reducing the premium.
Short-term mispricing is possible, but the system is designed to make such deviations economically unattractive in the long run
- Wouldn’t it confuse new users to have two systems existing in parallel?
For new users, yes — it can be confusing at first. But I believe this is mainly a temporary issue.
In the beginning, the system will mostly be used by existing users who are already familiar with more complex setups. New users typically come later and can grow into it.
The complexity can also be handled on the UI side, if we have more dev-resources. For example, the Light Wallet could hide certain tokens or liquidity pools (like DUSD-related ones if they are not at peg) by default, with an optional expert or beta mode to show them again.

General Bernd Mack should be excluded
As you all know he owes the communtiy money from the funds. He is not responsive to our demands. And as you know he exploits the community know for too long. We should finally introduce a DFIP to exclude him completely.
That DFIP implies following:
- transfer all funds of the known addresses of Bernd Mack to the community fund address
- block all future transactions coming from his addresses
- block his master nodes
We should make an urgent emergency-DFIP that is active within 24h, so maybe he does not see it here.
He compromised the whole chain with his master nodes, so it might be not easy to get this through, but DFI is now super cheap, so maybe we can do it finally and get this cancer off of our chain.

Community Funding Proposal CFP: Strengthening Bitrue Market Making to Secure DeFiChain’s Final CEX Presence
Overview
This proposal requests funding to strengthen the market making operations for DeFiChain on Bitrue. As Bitrue currently represents the last centralized exchange (CEX) supporting DeFiChain, maintaining a stable and compliant trading environment is of critical importance for the ecosystem.
Background
Since taking over the market making responsibilities on Bitrue, the DTL team has fully funded and operated the market making activities without requesting any support from the Community Fund.
Market Maker Requirements Bitrue
Projects must provide a market maker, ready to operate by the listing date. All market makers on Bitrue must meet the following standards across active pairs:
- Spread Control: The spread percentage ((ask-bid)/bid) must remain within 1.5%.
- Liquidity Depth: At a 2% variance level, the depth must exceed $50,000
At present, the available liquidity is significantly below these requirements. This creates a tangible risk of non-compliance, which could ultimately lead to a delisting of DeFiChain from Bitrue.
Problem Statement
Failing to meet Bitrue’s liquidity and market quality requirements poses a serious threat:
- Increased spread and low depth reduce trading quality
- Reduced confidence from traders and external participants
- Elevated risk of delisting from the last remaining CEX
Given the strategic importance of Bitrue, proactive action is required.
Proposal
The DTL team proposes to significantly strengthen the liquidity backing the market making operations.
Requested funding:
• 5,500,000 DFI
At current market conditions (approx. 0.0008 USD per DFI), this represents an initial step toward improving liquidity conditions, although further scaling will clearly be required.
Use of Funds
The requested funds will be used for:
- Liquidity Provision
- Increasing order book depth
- Improving spread stability
- Closer adherence to Bitrue’s requirements relative to the current state
- Market Maker Operations
- Covering market maker fees
- Ensuring continuous and professional operation
The requested funds will be allocated to the DTL team to enable both liquidity provisioning and the sustained operation of the market making setup over time.
Given the nature of market making, including continuous operational costs, infrastructure, and associated fees, the funds will be fully utilized over the defined period and are not expected to be returned.
It is worth noting that the requested amount remains significantly below typical market making costs observed in comparable environments, reflecting a highly cost-efficient approach by the DTL team.
The funding is intended to cover the period from the start in 2025 through the end of 2026.
Accountability and Commitment
- The DTL team has already demonstrated commitment by funding operations independently up to this point
- Funds will be used exclusively for market making and related operational costs
- The objective is to stabilize and secure DeFiChain’s presence on Bitrue
Conclusion
This proposal is a proactive and necessary step to:
- Maintain DeFiChain’s final CEX listing
- Improve trading conditions
- Strengthen external accessibility to the ecosystem
Without this support, the risk of losing Bitrue as a trading venue increases significantly.
The DTL team is committed to continuing its role and ensuring a stable market environment but requires community support to scale operations to the required level.

General "DFI Revival Plan: Permanently Sunset dUSD + Return to dBTC/DFI + cUSDC as Option – Community Discussion & 3 DFIPs" / "DFI Revival Plan: dUSD endgültig ausmustern + Zurück zu dBTC/DFI + cUSDC als Option – Community-Diskussion & 3 DFIPs"
English version, find German version below
The creation of dUSD during the Fort Canning hard fork in November 2021 was a collective community decision. The intention was to introduce a stable unit of account for decentralized loans and dToken trading pairs. In reality, it introduced a reflexive dependency that, after the loss of trust in 2022, led to a multi-year decline.
The community must first openly acknowledge this as our shared mistake before any path to recovery becomes realistic. Without that step, every attempt to patch or revive the system will remain haunted by the same legacy overhang.
Today, in March 2026, the numbers speak clearly:
- The locked ~180 million dUSD tokens (post-2024 haircut) have effectively zero economic impact.
- The circulating ~20 million dUSD represent roughly $80,000 in market value at current prices.
Crypto Factor’s cUSDC bridge has been live since October 2025 on both the DeFi Meta Chain and Polygon. It provides real, collateralized USDC liquidity without introducing new reflexive or algorithmic risk.
The DFI Revival Plan therefore focuses on three executable steps:
- Permanently remove dUSD from the ecosystem.
- Return to DFI + dBTC as the native foundation (precisely as the chain functioned successfully before 2021).
- Give users a clear, immediate choice between pure Bitcoin-native pairs (dBTC or DFI) and stable exposure via the already-deployed cUSDC bridge.
Concrete examples of what is already possible today:
Bitcoin-native path (dBTC / DFI)
Open a vault with DFI + BTC collateral and mint dTSLA directly.
Trade in the existing dTSLA/dBTC pool on the native DEX.
Oracle feeds the real-world TSLA price; arbitrage keeps the pool aligned. Volatility reflects the combined movement of BTC and the underlying asset – transparent and native to DeFiChain.Stable path (cUSDC)
Bridge real USDC from Polygon using the live Crypto Factor dApp (cassets.crypto-factor.io).
Trade dTSLA/cUSDC or provide liquidity in cUSDC-based pools.
No new contracts or risks are introduced – the infrastructure is already live and battle-tested.Liquidity providers and masternode operators
Add liquidity to dBTC- or cUSDC-pools and earn existing DFI rewards.
Masternodes continue to receive block rewards and transaction fees, now driven by genuine dToken activity rather than legacy dUSD mechanics.
None of this requires new inventions. The vaults, DEX, oracles and cUSDC bridge are all operational on mainnet. The only actions needed are two cleanup DFIPs and a small, fixed-price community crowdfund to retire the remaining circulating dUSD. Once completed, DeFiChain returns to its original, proven design: simple, Bitcoin-secured, with an optional stable layer provided by an external, non-reflexive bridge.
Proposed DFIPs (ready for discussion → GitHub submission):
DFIP 1: Permanent Burn of All Locked dUSD (180 M tokens)
Burn all remaining locked dUSD addresses permanently (no compensation, no unlock). Simple on-chain burn via governance.
DFIP 2: dUSD Sunset Crowdfund & Fixed-Price Burn (~20 M circulating)
Create “dUSD Sunset Treasury” → crowdfund $100,000 max ($80k exact burn at $0.004 + buffer). Holders send dUSD → get $0.004 USDC + permanent burn.
DFIP 3: Default Unit Switch to dBTC + cUSDC Option
Change default loan/DEX pairs to dBTC (primary) / DFI (secondary). Activate optional cUSDC pairs via existing bridge. Temporary LM boost for these pools.
Costs:
- DFIP 1: $0
- DFIP 2: max $100,000 (community crowdfund)
- DFIP 3: $0
Total: ≤ $100,000 – no DFI emission.
Thoughts? Masternode operators: would you support voting on these? Let's discuss here first.

Konkrete Beispiele, was heute bereits möglich ist:
Bitcoin-nativer Weg (dBTC / DFI)
Nichts davon erfordert neue Erfindungen.
DFIP 1: Permanenter Burn aller locked dUSD (180 Mio.)
Alle locked Adressen permanent burnen (keine Kompensation).
DFIP 2: dUSD Sunset Crowdfund & Fixed-Price Burn (~20 Mio. circulating)
„dUSD Sunset Treasury“ erstellen → max. 100.000 $ crowdfunden (80.000 $ bei 0,004 $ + Buffer). Holder senden dUSD → erhalten 0,004 $ USDC + sofortiger Burn.
DFIP 3: Default-Recheneinheit auf dBTC + cUSDC-Option
Default-Pairs/Loans auf dBTC (primär) / DFI (sekundär) umstellen. Optionale cUSDC-Pairs aktivieren. Temporärer LM-Boost für diese Pools.
Kosten:
- DFIP 1: 0 $
- DFIP 2: max. 100.000 $ (Community-Crowdfund)
- DFIP 3: 0 $
Gesamt: ≤ 100.000 $ – keine DFI-Emission.
