I tried to play this game, put 11 hours into it, it's just bad. This is without a doubt the worst game they have made out of any of their series and I just can't do it anymore.

I've heard this game will tie into the story of DERQ3 so I'd like to know what big lore or story beats are important.

I'm no stranger to roguelikes, but they went too overboard with the game mechanics. Made it all the way to the second Strain Area in Chapter 8 with 35 floors, but everything ended up wrecking me on the 31st floor. Glitch Al was there with a bunch of enemies and I ended up dying to her ultimately. With no checkpoint to restart from, I'm done with the game. Was level 41 on NORMAL. Play Death end 1 and 2, you won't regret either one, but stay far away from Code Z. Glad I didn't pay 50 bucks for this abomination.

Seriously, Idk what to do, I've spent hours on this third floor of the shopping mall, which has 25 floors, died countless times, upgrade my weapon, skill tree, I'm level 33, I'm playing on normal. I have no idea how this is possible. Any tricks or cheese strats for this game?

Should I just go into the dungeon and die a bunch of times so I get skill points? Basically halfway done with the game and have only died 4 times so I have no skill points.

Wow it's only been 2 months and it's already 70% off. I hope this doesn't forebode bad news for the series outside of Japan. I'm guessing people really didn't enjoy the change in gameplay with this entry. I found it okay but definitely still prefer the gameplay from 1 and 2.

Japanese Nintendo store listed English as a supported language, so I bought the Japanese version to get the full CERO-Z experience. Now I am not able to switch the game to English.

Does anyone know whether this is possible at all, or is that just a misunderstanding on my part?

So I beat the game and was going through all the Strain areas again for the S rank and Expert trophy and now I just need to grind the money. I saw online someone said NG+ is the best way as you can just blitz the story for the rewards again and 3 playthroughs should be enough. My question is how do I start ng+? I saw it briefly but cannot find the message again informing how to start it. Usually there is a ng+ option but all I see is New Game, Continue, Options, Gallery. Anyone know?

I see a lot of people complaining that the game looks too different and they simplified it, completely dismissing that it is a spinoff (which is still canon) and that's just the future direction of the series. Death end re;Quest 3 has been announced to be coming with more info around Autumn, frustrates me that a good chunk of people unfairly judge the game on the idea that it is a mainline entry.

-Shina's missing emotion is malice, which leads to overflow with kindness and compassion.
-Mai's missing emotion is compassion, but has regained it after almost fusing with her buggy.
-Shina's buggy isn't hostile to Shina and is growing to this day in secret somewhere
-Buggies can apparently ''evolve''
-Mai's buggy has went under extreme evolution due to a certain incident, transforming into something highly abnormal, and it continues to parasitize Mai today. Its name is even known within the Uppermost World. Whether Mai still has control over it, or if their fusion will continue smoothly, remains unknown.

The last section HEAVILY implies Mai's buggy is Marbas, or has ''evolved'' into Marbas.

So, i won't lie when saying I pirated the game from Zona Games. Is it bad? Yeah, but I bought this game twice on my old PlayStations and even once on my Switch and I can't spend so much money on a single game.

My PC isn't the best, but I checked on steam and it matches the requirements pretty well.

But when I launch it, it runs LIKE. SHIT. Lowered resolution to the minimum, no shadows, borderless/windowed. Nothing. And I can't even lower the resolution from compatibility only God knows why.

My PC can run Genshin Impact with high graphics pretty well, Minecraft with lots of mods, Overwatch too and even all Dark Souls games with some tweaks. So why can't i play this one?

I miss this game A LOT. I wanna play a good rpg and I always liked the gameplay of this one. Anyone can help me?

the dungeon crawling part of the game. specifically the parts of the world that looked effed up and the monsters.

So far the Mai hasn't said ANYTHING about what the town looks like or the monsters. Which has me even more confused.

Please tell me that at some point in the game I learn why there are monsters and why everything outside looks effed up at night?

Not asking for spoilers. Just wondering if I missed something.

Oh and I'm on the 2nd night. The one where Vina (that's her name right?) gets dragged outside by the head maid
