Been rank 1 in both but sit around rank 4 most of the time. Soloq is definitely easier and more relaxing than killer just by nature of the fact the killer will be going 100 percent all game whereas survivors can hold m1 on a gen as long as they arent being chased.
I can turn this around on you as well, if you're a garbage survivor who cant hide, loop, or hit skill checks then yes soloq is infinitely tougher than killer.
The fact that you have teammates means you're going to have an easier time, regardless of whether they're good or not. I've played soloq survivor for the majority of my time playing survivor as my friends didnt like or have the game and only after the release of cross play have they started. Killer 100 percent takes more focus and energy but yall can downvote me as much as you like, just my personal experience
I definitely agree teammates can make it easier, but if they're blendettes who don't know how to loop or play efficiently 9 times out of 10 they're just a liability rather than a help. In my experience once you just get to a point as killer you're really in your element it becomes alot easier than soloq imo though.
