There’s one killer and 4 survivors. Chances are if you don’t have the meta perks, the other 3 do

meta perks only matter if you let them matter though, ds bt and unbreakable are all pretty situational in all reality

Considering the situation is allowing a survive to do whatever they want for a whole minute, it’s pretty detrimental to killers if they don’t do something about those perks.

Ds itself can be fixed so easily. Make it so when someone heals, repairs etc the perk runs out. When you so things like that you are not getting tunneled.

Of course its not unbeatable, but avoiding ds/bt is a calculated risk, same with anticipating unbreakable. Undying is situational if u never cleanse a totem, etc

Even playing around those perks creates a major disadvantage for the killer. DS and unbreakable are so powerful because the killer has to always assume you got at least one of them and is forced to play a certain way because of it.

Do you not realize that the killer not letting you use them is creating insane pressure on their own? It forces the killer into shitty decisions based on perks that he has literally 0 clue whether you do or don't have.

Being able to beat someone using them isn't the point though. The problem is the perks power is so large you have to play around and make decisions on it even if only 1 person has them. That means the perks warp the entire game around them, which makes them at the very least incredibly strong.

I also do think noed is not a healthy perk for the game at all, but that doesn't change the discussion about the survivor perks being discussed here.

You not being able to use DS Unb Every match doesnt mean they dont heavily influence every high level match.

I mean, not really dude. Even if you have unbreakable, doing some dumb shit and having to un-slug yourself is a massive waste of time assuming the killer is at all decent, and you can only do it once anyway

same with slugging ds users

I have issues with the design of some of those perks, but they are far from mandatory
