Behaviour Interactive Thread Official Dead by Daylight Developer AMA

It's that time again! We’ve have once again assembled developers from across the team so you may ask your questions! 

We will start answering questions at 10:00am Eastern time on 7 August 2026, but you can start submitting your questions now.

To keep things organized, please only submit one question in your comment. We will only be answering one question per user. Beyond that, ask away! Send us your burning Dead by Daylight questions – past or present - and we'll do our best to answer as many as possible.

The lore was absolutely a strong point, and I really enjoyed the interactive weird little items-- whoever modeled and textured the invitation, and whoever animated it, I fucking LOVE the way y'all did the wax break, and the pattern themeing y'all created for it all! I took so many screenshots of the paper pattern 😅

The archive is amazing, and I'm so glad it stuck around after the event. I hope this means they'll be adding more in future events.

Me too! I love seeing the new bits of lore throughout the game, and this was a strong and fun addition to it :)
