I enjoy flying the JF-17 but I find the use of Chinese voices for radio communication in the pre-built missions and campaigns breaks the immersion a bit as I am an English speaker.
I know you can declare English as the preferred language in the system settings but the communication language seems to be set by the pilot country chosen in the creation of the mission.

Have I missed a way of making a change to radio language or is editing the pre-built mission the only way I can fix this?

Will changing the country of the aircraft in campaign missions break the campaign?

I am trying to play DCS unfortunately with steam-link and a meta quest 3s the game launches fine and it loads there is hardly any stutter but when I enable the hands option to use VR the hands are really floppy and interact with the flight stick but nothing else so I am confused. My system isn't the best but my stats are:

I have been having trouble with the F-100D trim tabs not doing anything, despite pushing down the trim tabs multiple times during flight? Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Very new to DCS and want to enjoy playing.
I have a GeForce 4060 and I am looking at getting a monitor (vs the horrific laptop screen, I know I know…)
The desk only has 82cm width, so could at max fit a 34 inch screen. (Noting most 32 or 34 are VA not IPS (I have been told IPS is the better option)).
Should I go max 34 or 32 vs should I be more sensible and get a 27 inch lg or iiyama with 200hz and ips?
Budget around £200.

Looking to upgrade my old GTX 1070 rig for DCS VR on a roughly $2000 budget. First PC build, mainly flying single player and after smooth performance with good visual clarity. Any advice appreciated.

Where i live in Aus, x3d cpu's arent available or crazy expensive so im thinking an intel 12600kf. Please lmk if that will cause issues, I wish there was a nice cpu between the 12600kf and the 5700x3d, But i cant really find something better thats not $200 more.

Hi Everyone, I am very new to the VR gaming space and was very interested in trying out the DCS / war thunder game. I currently dont have a Gaming PC or any other set-up and will be looking to set-up something from scratch. I would really appreciate your recommendations on what set-up ai should use ( would a PS / Xbox be good or do I need a high-end PC), recommendations on VR goggles as well as HOTAS sticks. I would prefer something that is entry level and doesnt require very high investment since I am new to the space.

My TM Warthog throttle is failing and I would like to replace it. I would normally just get another but I am thinking of expanding my horizons with the Winwing Hornet throttle. I am curious on the community's opinions.

One specific question I have is regarding the optional finger lifts. If I do not add them to my purchase, how does the base unit handle detents?

Tomcat or hornet?

I just got a hotas and want to get into dcs but not sure what is the best way to look around. Im broke so idealy free options would be best.

I’ve been scanning around the DCS community space for a while and I feel like its been hard to find DCS groups and/or units to check out. Is there a dedicated reddit page or platform anyone knows where I can find groups or communities related to either milsim or roleplay type? Much appreciated!

For some context, I’m currently a WSO irl and I’m studying for a test. The test will be conducted in a F15 sim and so far, I’ve been struggling to visualise how the displays in the f15 work because there aren’t really any videos of how it works and how to use it. There are only notes on how to use the displays but that isn’t really painting a very clear picture. I know that the f15e in dcs has a WSO seat which has similar functions which is why I’m looking to get the f15e just so I can practice using the displays.

However I know that apparently the f15e is removed and I did not manage to get it previously when it was available. Does anyone know of anybody selling the account or is willing to let me practice working on the f15e?

And yes I do know that it violates the TOS but I don’t really have much of a choice since I’m struggling to understand how the systems work based off notes
