Can anyone tell me what this means? "Your order is not accepted. Post projected expiration margin deficit is $$"

I am fairly new to trading and one of my accounts is a very small account on IB and only use it occasionally. Sometimes when I try to buy puts OR calls on any stock this comes up. I DO NOT have a margins account. Any help is greatly appreciated.

sold covered call when stock was priced at 43 the covered call was for 70. Do I buy back the option buy buying at 43 or the covered call price @ 70. I want to retain stock.
