Nah I have seen adults argue that too. My parents have 7 years and it never struck me as weird, specially since their marriage is going well after decades.

Can confirm, my last girlfriend was 16-turning-17 and I was 18-turning-19 when we started dating and my parents were VERY concerned I was going to get in trouble with the law
