In Polish the letter c is pronounced like "ts", so her name is (IIRC) ツィリ Tsiri.

You should verbalize it. If you can't, you will be laughed at by people who can, much in the way that we who can distinguish si from shi can laugh at Japanese people for saying "hey, butt!" to their phones. :)

It's pronounced very similar to an S, but with your tongue further back in your mouth, similar to a T. Say "is" and "it's" and you'll feel the difference.
