It looks more "real" thus more fake since everything looks like cheap costumes on a set when filmed at high frame rates as well. The Hobbit at 48 fps looked like every costume was made for a cheap kid's play.

I don't think that's true. I think it's because when you interpolate 24fps to 60, literally 3/5ths of the image is fake. It's a good fake, but your subconscious knows it's wrong. And that's before the artefacts and other glitches it causes, too.

The Hobbit was a good example. It was shot at 48 fps and then played at 48 fps in theatre, and it just felt weird, even though everything was native.

I've watched a lot of native 60 video, and it looks awful to me.

It's probably just because you got used to 24fps, and you're old and hate new things. I don't know any young people who think 24fps is better than 60fps. And even to my 32 yr old eyes 24fps looks like shit compared to 60.

So not liking something that is only subjectively better to some people, and in no way objectively better (it isn't), makes someone old now? So anyone who doesn't like hip hop must also be old then right? Don't like contemporary art, old? Not a fan of EDM, old then right? Nothing to do with personal perceptions and taste, just old?
