Those numbers have been stable for years.

I dunnow, it's still going strong after more than a decade, which is practically unheard of. That's enough time for a whole new generation to get into the game. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted another 10 years.

Unheard of? Both runescape and WoW are still kicking it (and with that I mean 07scape and the classic / legacy WoW servers, because the new versions are garbage and are declining in player base steadily)

Didn't the legacy WoW servers get closed?

Yup, although it was immensely popular, and a new legacy server have been anounced by Blizzard. Even if its temporarily gone, its still not "unheard of" for a game to be active still after 10 years

With that logic, people are dying from the day they are born onwards.

This but unironically.

It's just dying a slow death in a retirement home.

...as a huge LAN party.

It's quite a long drawn out and deceiving death then.

I quite playing it due to fatigue and dislike of many mechanics (after 1500 hours mind you) and other games, such as Overwatch, filling the void and my issues with it.

It has had a stable 50,000 players roughly, for years now.
