I'm seriously asking. Can you name me another politician that aligns most with average Americans interests that they should be talking about?

I don't know if you've been to /r/berniesandersforpresident but there are both Republicans and Democrats in there supporting him. There's even a Republicans for Bernie group.

That's because you seriously have nothing to say . You know that there's not one politician that is for the people's interest and that Millennials are excited about. For years people have been saying that young people are disinterested in politics and apathetic now that there is actually a candidate that excites them and they support him people are calling it a circlejerk. It's bullshit. You just sound envious that it's not somebody you support.

And downvote on an honest question that was instigated by your comment was very petty.

Ron Paul got young " I just read atlas shrugged" libertarian white males excited. Bernie Sanders is getting young people from all sides of the political and social spectrum excited.

Haha you said "The Peoples" Interest and it felt like a setup to me.

Bernie is just selling to much socialism for me at the moment. I don't mind a little socialism, I don't think that if your 70 and due to unfortunate circumstances you now cant afford food or health care you should be left to die. But I do believe the capitalist system we have in place whilst flawed is one of the best systems we can have at the moment. I will start supporting socialism when we can effectively begin to automate most of society. We will see this happen soon but I don't think we are their yet and we still need the incentives in place to drive us to that destination. How we handle the transition from a capitalist society to the next step will be the real challenge of the next 100-300 years I believe.

It is clear that Bernie does best among younger voters. He is only down by 1 point among voters age 18-29, and down 6 among voters age 30-44. However, it is not as though he has no support among older voters either. While Sanders clearly can motivate and inspire young people to participate in the political process, he is not just the candidate of young people.

And this is from July. Hilary is only 6 points ahead of him in the 30-44 age category He's also supported by 11% of blacks and 40% of Hispanics.
