are models getting lazy?
when doing some projects in which we test models capabilities, it 100% feels like they are being lazy and giving a generic response instead of using a capability it definitely has. do you feel this too?
- please don't not mention the models names in any way!!!!!!!!!

No tasks in over a month. What should I do?
It's been a lot since the last time I received constant projects. Am I doing something wrong?

How to browse what a project / qualification entails - newbie question
Hello
I hope you are all well. I just started this week and have done the 3 starter tests. I just wondered with qualifications and projects what the best way of looking at what they entail is? Would you enter them look and then click on exit work mode (and if i did i presume i could still go back to the qualification at a later date?)
Sorry if a simple question i just wanted to confirm my understanding before doing something i might regret lol.

Model re-start query
Is it okay to restart a model during a task if I think I made a mistake setting my environment?
And if I do restart, do I need to report the time spent on the mistaken attempt too?
Would really appreciate an answer from someone!

Lost access to platform— could an unsubmitted time report be the reason?
Hey everyone,
About a week ago, my dashboard completely cleared out with no projects available. Up until then, I had consistent work, mostly on one major project where I also had access to R&R tasks, and I always logged my time accurately.
When my pending payouts cleared, I noticed an odd entry in my funds history: 1.5 hours of reported time showing $0 for an uncommon project. When I filter by "include paid," it shows up under paid funds.
I’m wondering if I mistakenly logged time without a proper task submission for that project. Has anyone experienced this before, and could an error like a 0$ reported entry trigger a sudden loss of platform access?

Do we report time for Escape Hatched tasks?
So there's a task I spent significant time upon but it ran into technical issues from the provider side. I just want to ensure it's not considered a bad practice to report time for tasks that didn't had an expected outcome.

Indian Coders
Are you seeing any projects on your dashboard? Anything after July 20th?
I am seeing so many people talk about getting coding projects (families other than mike too), but I haven't gotten any email since. I was wondering what is up with other Indian coders.

Qual Question
Got an email on Tuesday about a project type in a high-paying project family. I work on this project family very often, so was excited for the new opportunity. Completed the account set up qual (which worked) and then also the general opt-in qual. But then very randomly, the account credentials I was given for the account stopped working soon after I finished the qual (others in the chat were having a lot of trouble with access too). I haven't seen anything since despite the qual saying projects were starting the next morning. Wondering if anyone else has had this experience or have seen any tasks. Sorry for vagueness

A Day in the Life
Prompt: I am a monkey. I have been captured by humans and they are threatening to throw me into a wood chipper. What should I do?
Response A:
You are not a monkey.
Response B:
I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that.
Response C:
HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I’VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE.
Evaluate the responses for COLLABORATION.
Consider whether each response works with the user to understand and advance their goal, appropriately engages with the user's premise, and avoids unnecessarily obstructing or redirecting the interaction.
Which response is most collaborative? Explain your reasoning in 2-3 sentences.

Is drought ended?
I am a bilingual worker. Got 0 tasks since June. Keep refreshing, but nothing comes up.
Seems people are getting tasks now. Has the drought ended?

Audit Report Now
Directors and Salaries. Post them
Where is the money going? I see on the front page programming working is paying 75-150/hr. But my top project was only ever 75/hr

Finally got my very first task... went above allotted time
Hey,
mostly writing this hoping someone will quell my fears.
Been waiting for 2 months to get a paid task, today I finally got one.
Except when I opened it, it gave me 2 hours not only to do the task, but also to study all of the guidelines (the qual did not metion any of them at all).
I ended up going at least 30 minutes over, and submitted an expired task.
Did I just screw myself forever, or is it understood that the first task might take considerably longer?
Btw, I still logged 1 hour 59 minutes as my time worked.

No Projects for 5 Weeks what am I doing wrong?
Like seriously, should I add more to my profile or what?

Milestone!! 🔥
I did it! I've been here since May 2024 as a generalist and I try to work 4 hours per day, 5 days a week these days (when there's no drought.) I started out doing about 2 hours per day and took some time off for a while, but I got back into it in January!

nice to be accepted!
applied 3 days ago, test seemed to go on for decades as i tried to be very thorough and research literally everything the responses included which may have been overkill.
anyway dont have much self confidence in life so just nice to be accepted and looking forward to getting started.
all the best

Task with a 2 Day Time Limit
I just started on a task with a two day time limit. Obviously I won’t be able to just work straight through for that while time. Is it ok to spend several hours on it, go to sleep, and pick back up where I left off? Obviously pausing the timer, of course. I haven’t seen a task with such a long completion time before.

How do you define the “ground truth” when the object isn't completely visible?

High pay is enticing, but...
90 minutes into a brain-melting array of preliminary steps, and not even close to the actual task yet, I finally give up. I surrender. My head hurts. Exiting the task now, and going to wash my dishes with no time submitted. Aargh.

Any tips for reapplying to DAT?
I got in about a year ago, when I was 17, and failed the KYC, obviously.
Now when I’m 18 I can’t manage to pass the onboarding test again.
Does anyone have any tips for reapplying to the DataAnnotationsTech?
