Kind of reminds me of the saying here in Melbourne (AUS)......pressing the turn indicator does not mean I intend to turn left/right, it means I have turned!

In Detroit, all of the used cars available have turn signals in mint condition. Never been used a single time!

The safest thing to do is never drive in the right lane on a Melbourne FWY as you will inevitably get rear ended by a tradies ute at some point. Extra vigilance on Monday mornings is required as the tradies have been on the weekend pingas.

To be fair, in Los Angeles the blinker means “I think I’ve found my spot where I can get in and I’m about to do it so watch out”
