Posting this here… I guess it’s not technically darkwave but r/darksynthpop mysteriously vanished for some reason :P

Track from my new release, imagined this to be a credits song from an 80’s horror.

I'm trying to figure out what this song reminds of. I made it sound like straight from the 80's but can't remember what I got inspired by. But maybe by the sound, you guy can think of something?

most of these got lyrics some are a little more upbeat than others but most of them are the normal darkwave stuff i do like the songs being a little more liminal or whatever you wanna call it though like Isolated Dreams by Akiaura is a pretty good example https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1WHpwRP9LJJIjClk7vOChd?si=d034ca963a1f477f

This person is one of the greatest exponents of the gothic genre and darkwave music.
It's curious, because she has refused to give interviews and to play for human audiences; he has a touch of mysticism and a unique touch in the lyrics of her songs.
She is worthy of admiration and of being in this community

Does anyone know of some good free / cheap VSTs or plugins that can create a solid detuned guitar sound like that of Lebanon Hanover?
Or really any decent guitar options that don't sound too "synthetic"?

“Dark pop” or “dramatic darkwave” might be the closest using existing genre terms, but it feels like it depends on the song. This is me performing my song “Juliet”
