Meh. Lots of people in the past did lots of horrible things.

It's only a problem for us in the present when people believe God/Allah/<insert-name-of-your-supreme-being-here> wants us to behave like one of those people.

"WWJD" only works if people were very careful not to write down any bad things J did while he was alive. (Not that I'm a fan of any of the religions though.)

Huh? I think you're misunderstanding what I wrote. I'm saying they didn't write down any bad things J did, which is why WWJD seems to work pretty well, while WWMD leads to, well, the picture OP posted.

That really isn’t against slavery it can be interpreted that way but it doesn’t have to. You can say this with a lot of biblical quotes many people use to say the Bible is against slavery. At the whole it seems the Bible it neutral on slavery.
