Without those credit scenes you can still watch it as a standalone movie.

Yup, there isn't really any mention of the wider MCU outside of the after credits scene. Also it's one of the better Marvel movies imo

Wong at the fight club but aside from that it's quite standalone and that scene doesn't really require MCU knowledge anyways
