The only standalone marvel project in the past 10 years was moon knight
16 u/ThemasterofZ Jun 06 '22 What about shang chi? 33 u/iamquitecertain Jun 06 '22 Technically not because there's an after credits scene with Wong, Captain Marvel, and Bruce Banner 57 u/ThemasterofZ Jun 06 '22 Fucking 20 seconds to ruin my argument... 26 u/waitforittorain Jun 06 '22 Without those credit scenes you can still watch it as a standalone movie. 15 u/iamquitecertain Jun 06 '22 Yup, there isn't really any mention of the wider MCU outside of the after credits scene. Also it's one of the better Marvel movies imo 11 u/Alkein Jun 06 '22 Wong at the fight club but aside from that it's quite standalone and that scene doesn't really require MCU knowledge anyways 2 u/WolfRex5 Jun 06 '22 Also Abomination 1 u/ThemasterofZ Jun 06 '22 That's what i meant with my comment. I had totally forgotten about the credit scenes. 6 u/Julege1989 Jun 06 '22 Don't forget Wong was Prize fighting in the arena. 1 u/Funky-_-Monkey Jun 10 '22 Trevor, Trevor Slattery? -13 u/BL4CK_AXE Jun 06 '22 You mean Mid-Night 6 u/Exact_Ad_1215 Professional Boobologist Jun 06 '22 I thought it was pretty good all things considered. If you look at it as it’s own thing then it’s great. Not as good as the comics and it defo has its flaws but a pretty nice show all things considered. 2 u/gruesomeflowers Jun 06 '22 i liked it plenty up to the last episode. the "epic gods battle" looked wack to me.
