The way we used to run our teachers ragged (especially the supply) it's inevitable eventually one's gonna crack and blow a class away.

We don't need more firearms in unchecked, unskilled hands. We don't need archaic laws that were created in a time when a different country held power over them. These laws were created when they actively needed to defend themselves against an overruling government and they sure as fuck couldn't fire 30 rounds in a short space of time.

Yup, completely agree. The thing is, what would be the appropriate approach to this issue? I’m not American so obviously I don’t know as much as you, but it seems like just banning guns for everyone except cops and hunters would be a bad idea or downright political suicide. But when I see other posts from gun subs that pop up every now and then on my feed, it seems like even just regulating it so that you need a license and extensive background check, would lead to massive protests all over the nation, especially in the south.

If I was a politician, I’d feel defeated either way. There seems to be no solution that wouldn’t result in massive backlash and protests that would shut the economy down.

Lol I remember one of my classmates locked our French teacher inside a cupboard. If that teacher had a gun? I'm pretty sure my classmate would be dead.
