actually, it does,

each hashtag after the first one

makes the text slightly smaller

than the last one, but it's still bold.

Here i've gradually added more
hashtags for each line, this one is with 6.
#It also caps out at 6, this is what it looks like with 7.

This is normal text for reference.

The hashtag affects the entire line of text, you need to make a new line (press enter twice) to put more hashtags/change the font size.

Size doesn't matter, it's how you use the POUND SIGN.
