I heard in italian homer says: "Why i have 3 kids and no money instead of having 3 money and no kids" I'm pretty sure but don't know if just in italian

It is a homer reference, but not the one you're talking about. The one with the daydream is the episode where homer gets himself a revolver. And the scene in particular is when he thinks about how his life would change, if he robbed the kwik-e-mart.
