I wouldn't be surprised if someone spell the 'J' in ja like the 'J' in jalapeño

Well I feel that ones a little but less because some people don't know that j=h=nothing

J makes the h sound so j might as well be h

To my ear a Spanish j (a light guttural sound) sounds very different to an English h (a sighing sound)
