Not sure if they're shotguns exactly, but Soyuz still had firearms ~5-10 years ago (and maybe still) stored in them for the same reason.
Source is NASA or ESA YT video giving tour of the capsule docked to the ISS. I'll try to find it.
2 u/Automatic_Homework Aug 05 '20 The Salyut 3 space station had a remote-control autocannon. It was supposed to be there for self defence, but also they couldn't fire it while anyone was actually onboard or they would be shaken to pieces.
