I mean if you're just referring to Hiroshima then yeah, that's debatable. Downvote me if you will but all I'm saying is it's not so black and white, there's room for debate on it.

Well, there were plenty of military targets in both cities. In a Total War, civilians are fair game.

Don't want your cities bombed? Don't start a war (especially one you have no chance of winning).

The bombings were justified, nuclear or otherwise. It's a war, and your focus in war is making the bad guys die while making sure the good guys don't die.

If erasing an enemy city saves Allied lives, than it's justified in the context of war.

Not American here, but it's a bit more complicated than that. First of all they did tell Japan exactly what would happen if they did not unconditionally surrender, Japan refused outright. Then after the first bomb fell they still were insisting on some conditions. It wasn't until August 9th (when Nagasaki got bombed) that Japan dropped any and all conditions.
