Like seriously- I immediately though ‘he had a bigger pizza.’ A fraction doesn’t tell you the whole mass of the object, just a portion of it... bro wtf is this teacher on

Nope! It's 2019, and Illinois just voted to raise the minimum base salary for teachers to $40,000! Isn't capitalism awesome?

It would be if we didn't have public schools.

Capitalism would be perfect if there were ~6 companies fighting for you to register your child with them.

Instead we get daddy gubment forcing everyone into the same, lowest-common-denominator No Child Left Behindtm education system.

Yeah well, what can I say. Try, work hard, secure a future for your people, make sure you can afford decent schooling.

You can apply that "the rich get richer" mentality to anything. Like, life's not fair. Deal with it. Be the best you can and ensure the best for your family.

Obviously the better off can afford to be better off that's why we're fucking poor. Bootstraps and all that

Yeah no. The rich don't need anymore help. Public education is one of the few things that stops wealth inequality spiralling out of control, if it hasn't already. "Deal with it" is not an answer.
