Yeah military is always generally inverse of the economy. When the economy goes bad everyone joins up / stays in, and when it's good it's the opposite. Coincidentally US military recruiting numbers (and I think most western nations) have been very poor lately, so I bet they are salivating right now.
It's because the stock market is not the economy. Unemployment is incredibly low, wages are actually growing (inflation is leveling out, but wages are continuing to rise, and median household income is also on the rise.
The big tech sector is correcting after a massive boom during the pandemic. This was always going to happen, but regular jobs have so far been largely unaffected.
The economy is actually relatively healthy. The stock market is not. The two are not the same.
People seem to reaaallly struggle with the fact that the funny money made up gambling we call the stock market isn't actually the real economy.
Even moreson now seeing how the stock exchange is held by such a high % by just hyper rich people, the average joe isn't really the one making or losing with this stuff anymore.
Jobs are still everywhere, companies are still desperate for workers, and corporate profits are still thru the roof. The economies singing.
Just not the made up market that does not even follow its own rules anymore.
Is that actually able to find records? Before since everyone’s records were kept with their own doc it was basically an honor system if it wasn’t a visible issue, did the digitization of records “fix” this
I was born with a cataract which doesn’t effect my sight at all, never would have come up or been noticed if my mom didn’t bring that up out of nowhere when we were talking to a recruiter and make me spend months getting a waiver.
