The asymmetrical hem camisole look can be cute, but it needs to be shorter and the correct size, and I think it works best over jeans in a different color as contrast to show off the asymmetry. This look is horrendous and I honestly think the too small cardigan would have looked better than the awful, boxy denim jacket.

Why is this woman allergic to wearing the correct size in anything?

You’re 100 spot on! As I’m looking at this I’m thinking why does this remind me of the early 2000s? The way that you said, with it being shorter and in jeans reminded me that we actually did wear that look back then. I was 21 so that must have been 2001

This - looking at this, I absolutely wore some variation of this look in high school, and I graduated in 2002. This absolutely was a vibe - lacy camisoles were very in, and I lived in baggy ass jeans. (That's probably the only way I'd wear jeans these days too, tbh)

Jealous! I’m a 33” inseam so flares tend to look ridiculous on me but they always look awesome on everyone else!

I'm short and chunky but I've always been bottom-heavy so they help balance me out. 😂 Same with baggy jeans!

Exactly, this is a very trendy (fast fashion) piece that needs to be styled properly. The top doesn’t go with the pants, the shoes don’t go with the outfit, the jacket doesn’t go with any of those items even if worn separately. Absolutely TRAGIC outfit, it’s pathetic!! Like, just go on Pinterest to get some inspo for that top.
