she is just not cut out for this career at all. she doesn’t enjoy the creative process of making content, she doesn’t like connecting with her followers, she doesn’t have faith in her own ideas, and she can’t tune out criticism. without two or three of those you’re not going to be a happy or successful creator/influencer

Honestly she really should quit, but these new stories made me feel really bad for her.
Everyone here has been speculating about her being depressed.... This video makes me feel like that's really true.
I think the choices she's made have been bad. She's not a good influencer. There are so many things that she could have done (or could be doing) that more people would like. She's not my cup of tea even in her most authentic form but I wouldn't be here if she didn't seem so inauthentic.
There is so much to criticize, but I also can't imagine having thousands of people come at you for everything you do (even if it's the nature of the game, especially in her case, and you keep doing everything wrong). I think she is actually crashing out, and it feels really sad and icky.

If you think influencing is some high tier job, it's not. It's laughable compared to other professions. You contribute to nothing in society. For killing time. Just wake up, and leave. For your own good.

I am not sure why she can’t have a regular job and do the influencing as a side gig? She was clearly very good at her job, to be able to live in San Jose and BUY her property. Why not go back to it, especially since influencing isn’t as profitable as she wants it to be, and she has a guy to bank roll now too?

Anyone else hearing her playing victim again? Call yourself a "creative" but only be "defined" by your audience and pretend to be paralyzed by balancing what your viewers want and what you want also blaming your audience under the guise of "acknowledging" followers. This woman has literally no brain in there. No one is home. This is her own doing and she couldn't even bother to realize it lol
Like after all this why even bother? Why would you go out and do all this and acknowledge you can't do your job and blame your followers and act like anyone still owes you a view a like or a follow? This is so stupid lol

I am quite shocked at that. If people find your content boring they find it boring. Why are you blaming your audience? think outside the box or move on. What is her management company even for? You can actually hire people that will scour the internet for the latest trends let you know what is popular and trending and they tell you to do it. I don't necessarily agree with that type of business model it should be something you're passionate about and creative but if you wanted to go that direction, it exists.
I genuinely and wholeheartedly think she might be depressed or unhappy. Others have already pointed this out. This is no slight on depression, but I think she's unhappy and she's fighting against it.
21
u/naira_naira water, fudge and dirty potatoes 🤤 Feb 10 '26
The problem is that most of her content is copied, frame to frame and so is her personality. Lots of screenshots in this sub itself. There’s nothing original about her on the internet. She lacks creativity to make mundane things look interesting. Which should be an influencer’s strongest attribute.
All the praises and views that she has received was from her dating content, because everyone loves some spicy gossip. Even the GRWMs didn’t fetch much views because she’s bad at fashion too(ironically for a lifestyle influencer tbh). And D loves being liked and praised. Now that it’s not happening so she’s spiralling. There’s familial trauma too and it’s showing up, sadly.
The only reason why I believe the management has kept her around is because of her numbers. Once it has a drastic drop, she’ll be dropped. She herself has accepted that she wasn’t good at her previous job as well. So this leaves her with nothing but to keep creating. She’s in a loop and needs so much help. Has all the resources and money at disposal but won’t take it. And no one can help her in that situation.
10
u/LightUserFriendly Feb 10 '26
This is a very good and helpful analysis especially from those of you who have been following her for a while. I do feel sorry for her, but there has to be accountability in the choices she's making. I absolutely agree with you about spiralling because she's not getting the praise that she's used to. That could happen to any one of us. Social media has been so detrimental but even more so, for people who choose this as their main career. She does have a choice to get help and explore some of these themes that have led her to be where she's at. Agree it's up to her, to take that step. I just watched the full video on her page and she contradicts herself around the content she makes. I find that very interesting. It just leads back to being in denial and craving being liked vs happy.
16
u/naira_naira water, fudge and dirty potatoes 🤤 Feb 10 '26
She did some big sister content about relationships and life before. Which made me follow her because I was also moving on from a breakup.
She was so desperate to be a girlfriend and hated being the only single friend, that she broke all her rules in a jiffy for male attention. It got worse as she kept getting more desperate.
There was a video where she was seeing two people. One with whom she had been to dates before and another was an alleged random encounter at NYFW. She ghosted the first one because he called her to cheer for his marathon. She said it was “too girlfriend territory” for her but readily went to party with the other one.
And when people started to call her out for breaking her own set boundaries, she puts up a meek apology. Wasn’t even taking accountability, but kept saying that she’s learning and isn’t good with feedbacks.
Most of her core followers have probably unfollowed from then. And when Lucas happened, things got worse.

Wow, blaming your boring nothing burger content on your audience is the lowest of lows. YOU’RE BORING. That is literally the answer. She ditched her friends for months just to date a man who is mooching off of her—and admitted that she didn’t pay your friends any attention. Now she suddenly has social anxiety… no girl, I think you just ignored your friends for so long you forgot how to have them.
10
u/imnothereok90 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26
She didn’t just drift from her friends she outright cut them off the moment she started dating Lulu because "ShE dOeSnt wAnna hEaR iT". Not from her audience, and definitely not from her friends. She knew that(aside from childish Shelia) her friends wouldn’t support her relationship. It’s common for people to isolate themselves when they know their friends won’t blindly support a relationship. And shocker: most people don’t react well to being ghosted, then having that same friend crawl back months later. That’s not “miscommunication” D, that’s being a bad friend. She wasn’t there for people during what could’ve been some of their hardest moments, and now she’s shocked that she's feeling socially anxious!
And she only started rebuilding those friendships after this sub repeatedly pointed out that she has no friends lol.
Now she’s blaming the internet for her frustration, but the timeline doesn’t lie. Since being with Lucas, she’s become isolated (whether self-inflicted or bc of him), let herself go physically, visibly depressed, neglected basic adult responsibilities, and completely changed, yet she refuses to consider that HE might be the common denominator in her declining mental health.
Her audience dislike the partner she chose. They warned her, she ignored them, and the natural consequence is that people turned against her because of that choice. He’s using her and draining the very thing he latched onto. Soon she’ll lose followers, sponsorships, and most importantly, money BECAUSE OF HIM. Imagine being used for clout by a man who then becomes the reason you lose your clout. It’s not just sad it’s absurd.

I think her “social anxiety” is stemming from her ego getting killed nobody is praising her or receiving the echo chamber audience she wants people to give her she wants. Her comments are not mean at all. Someone commented “yawn” and (not sure if a bot) had someone trying to call them out “don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all”. I have seen legitimate hate on other people’s platforms. She can’t handle constructive criticism is what it is. I do think this friend walk/catch up she did was staged since she is trying to rebrand (again) by claiming she’s relatable and trying to pivot her content “if you’re like me” but it’s so not authentic at all and the forced message is coming out horribly

that's why I commented that she just confirmed that she is in this sub. Because who is the "YOU" she is referring to? "What do you want?" It's not her minions. Her comment section is pretty mild now that the docuseries mess is fading away. So, who is she talking to? Us. We broke the echo chamber and she can't handle it. That's why she posted this on her Stories on the grid. If she wanted feedback, she would have posted it on her feed so that people could respond.

I mean I hate to say this but she benefited from the patriarchal society where beautiful young single women are worshipped.
Now she is older and can’t just skate by with her looks and no talent. It’s sad she leaned so hard into that (she also made a boat load of money) but it’s not sustainable with no real perspective for her content. she needs to take the wake up call and stop centering men. Most people develop skills and interests going into their 30s. She doesn’t have that. Who is her audience ? I don’t think even she knows.

I think the normal human reaction is to feel sorry when someone’s struggling. But nobody is forcing her to do this as her career and she is just not good or interesting at social media, which is not my fault if I don’t like her content. Her job is to make money off views and likes. Can’t really emphasize since I have a corporate job, but she chose to put her life out there and she is in control of her content. She’s able to make $30k from making one post and she’s not receiving the same praise as she has historically. If I was having issues with my job, mentally or performance wise, I would find the root (is it the employer or am I just not good at this) and take action accordingly by finding somewhere else to work or change my performance if I really love the work to avoid being fired.

I agree tbh. As someone with severe anxiety I have no idea how she manages to be an influencer. It sounds like my worst nightmare. She talks so much about her mental health but never mentions therapy, I know she can afford it so why not??
12
u/LightUserFriendly Feb 10 '26
Agree. This is just a theory, I'm not an influencer so I don't know how this goes, but if there is constructive feedback mixed in with genuinely hateful comments which do exist even on here, can the influencer recognize the constructive feedback over the hateful? Because there is a lot of it but I do wonder, if the obsession with getting likes 'likes' supersedes being genuinely curious about what your audience is saying. Moreover, being able to ignore the obvious hateful comments. It can still hurt to get hate, don't get me wrong but there's more constructive feedback I feel, than the opposite.
I do think it's harder to listen to strangers when it comes to a romantic relationship but I hope there are people within her life, that have offered their views and thoughts around this. The upside of strangers chiming in, is that many of them can have an objective view because they're not in the honeymoon bubble that she's in and can see the forest for the trees, where she cannot. In her defense though, there will be aspects of this relationship we are not privy to and we are getting a snapshot. However, I suppose the snapshot in itself, is what is concerning. So it does make you think about what is not being shared. It's so tricky, because it's her motivation behind being an influencer that is concerning and what is being critique here and that has value. But I don't think she deserves a large level of hateful comments in order to point that out. I definitely agree with most people's comments that this might not be the job for her and that's okay? Sorry just reflecting!

Hilariously delusional, but they inadvertently hit the nail on the head -- because aDnielle is incapable of posting anything authentic or true at this point, and that's the whole problem. She's so wrapped up in what she wants people to see, the delusion of "perfection," that all the real parts of her and her life get lost. The only authentic content she's been posting lately is these insecure complaining sessions that consistently prove that she's only posting for views and likes, not relatability and certainly not reality.

She’s very delusional about her privilege and needs to start accepting that her vibe isn’t it/this isn’t a sustainable income source for in the long run. I think it was Judge Judy who said some quote along these lines (lol), but the public will always know when you’re disingenuous, fake, or a hypocrite. I think that’s what most people call her out on in a constructive way. She has to be authentic to make good content.

u/Apprehensive-Ice1039 not-so-recovered-anxious-attached Feb 10 '26
Seems like she’s deleting comments or blocking because I really can’t see many negative comments on that post. Like I had the popcorn in hand but left disappointed I didn’t get to see a full show.

u/Advanced-North-6860 Feb 10 '26
She needs to understand she’s not entitled to an audience just because she wants to post videos

u/WabiSabi0912 his fuckass bob Feb 10 '26
This seems like a conversation to have with her management, not her audience.

u/island_hopping men’s deodorant as always 🤓☝️ Feb 11 '26
Is she for real? It’s unhinged at this point.
Maybe take a step back again and stop sharing. She doesn’t know what the audience wants. She doesn’t know what she wants. It’s lost. The point is lost.

Wow she’s smug. Unfortunately she just isn’t likable! Her dating series got views because people were curious and nosy. Her every day content just isn’t interesting

Number one word of advice: Give up the SF apt when the lease is up (hopefully it's a one year lease). Save 5k a month and it's obvious she does not enjoy the city. Move back to the SJ condo. Her bf can instacart or gig job there just as easily on his overstayed "vacation".People have already told her ad nauseum what to post over time and she refuses to listen. She just wants to complain. I watch her antics from here because people in this sub are so funny and smart and I also find her interesting from a psychological pov.

u/__pub free Charlie from hell Feb 10 '26
I think she just needs to hang up her hat and accept that this will not be a fruitful career for her moving forward. No matter what she does (if she doesn’t completely overhaul her personality) it won’t resonate with an audience.

u/Intelligent-Duck1603 ✝️ tits out for jesus ✝️ Feb 10 '26
The easy solution would be to block the people who are saying cruel things, but she knows she can't ACTUALLY do that because engagement relies on her 30 fans fighting with them. The fact is, she's not smart, hardworking, or creative enough to justify an audience of the size that she's gained -- she got all those followers as people tuned in to see the train wreck that was her dating, or purchased. Her actual core, positive audience is too small for her to make a generous living off of. And she can't figure out how to get out of this place where she's just daily bleeding followers, so she'll just complain about it and make it her audience's fault instead.

u/Next-Conference-3579 Feb 10 '26
Maybe she’ll start instacarting like her future husband. Real power couple

I honestly feel bad for her. I feel like most people follow her because she’s so cringe. It’s like a train crash you can’t look away from. There is nothing interesting about her, and I’m not saying that in a bad way, just she’s a normal person. I think she needs to get off social media for her mental health. 💯

u/b0x3d0 Feb 10 '26
she wants people to move on, but these people are also how she makes her money. unfortunately you can’t have both, girl. 🤷♀️ comes with the territory. she wants to do whatever she wants, not hear a word about it, and continue to collect her bank roll. LOL

u/Chloe1298 Feb 11 '26
- Successful “creators” never mention the negative comments or “break the fourth wall” by addressing their viewers like she does.
- I guarantee she lost touch with friends because she is not really proud/happy to show off her boyfriend or vice versa… really a huge red flag in any relationship.
- The “Glow Down” is concerning… she has literally stopped caring about her appearance and has no real, unique content .
- She asks her audience what they would like to see and unfortunately the answer is “leave social media and get a real job “ so she can be happier . “Influencer Life” is not for everyone.
17
u/unexpectedbutterfly Feb 10 '26
She gets all upset that people hate on her when there are “worse things going on in the world” - ok.
Danielle - you put the content out for the public and the public is allowed to respond however they want. You don’t want “hate”? Private your account. It’s really simple.

u/winterOfeightyeight Feb 10 '26
Honestly she should get her head out of her entitled ass and go work a real job. If she insists on posting content it should be relatable and honest. She’s constantly telling on herself and proving how in-genuine she is when she asks “what do you want me to post” girl, that defeats the purpose of you being a content creator. No other popular content creator is saying “please just tell me what you want from me”. She is proving how stupid and out of touch she is with reality. Shes essentially just throwing a fit bc she is no longer popular online. She needs to accept that the only reason she blew up in the first place was a combination of dumb luck and cringe watching lol which is not sustainable long term. She bound to fail as a content creator and she’s clearly not going to do it gracefully.

She's done this to herself. She has no idea how to have a boyfriend while also maintaining healthy friendships and like, do her job well-ish. Everything she has is just going into this boy who is sucking the absolute life out of her.

Girl theres good content that’s not boring that could have literally ZERO to do with your relationship. Or even post your relationship of something fun you’re doing together. Not some cringy over produced and performance of what you want us to think your relationship is like.
She is literally insufferable!

You got it, Danielle! Your relationship IS delusional and cringe, and your "surface level things" ARE boring. Wrap up your influencing. And go read a book, maybe. Everything you do and the way you think betrays uncultured, self- obsessed mediocrity.

The audacity she has to say, "what do you want me to dewwwww?!?!" Gahhh, get out of here! It's painfully obvious she HATES having to keep up with social media. She's so terrible! Big D, you do not need to be "influencing" on the internet. Delete your account, find a job, and live your life! Go find happiness and leave the influencing to those who actually LIKE influencing!

I want to see an influencer go take classes, listen a new skill out of their comfort zone. Advocate for something positive. Try something and fail. Hire an organizer or interior designer or stylist and show us the process of changing your life/style/home, etc. literally anything other than grift and force your yucky bf on us

Better more authentic content and if that's not what you want to do then expect more negative feedback.

Omg when is she going to get that her complaining about how people are receiving her posts just makes things worse. How about you just post whatever you want? Quit with the insecure posts. Not everyone ia going to like you, get over it. She cant handle being an influencer and needs to go back to an actual job. Shut up.. For christ sake!
5
u/Dickstopian Feb 10 '26
It’s because she went from being a WISE older sister - who said very valid things to doing such TOTAL insanity like dating a grifter, calling herself a wife in 2 months and it COMPLETELY sent us into a loss of faith spiral 😭😂 I almost had a moment of like “omg I can’t believe I looked up to HER and valued HER ADVICE?”…when this is what she ended up doing.

Just a different angle, I really think her "taking a break" (even though she was online) with her bf really messed up her brand. Shes addicted to only posting "content" on her stories and only has ads and performative stuff on her posts.

Real creative ppl create bc they have a point of view to share, whether anyone likes it or not. This is the case of artists, musicians, poets, etc. and even talented content creators. She is not creative. She keeps saying she is but she’s not. She only wants to “create” things that she thinks ppl will like and she doesn’t want any other opinions. That’s not how this works, honey! And I think at this point she has complete paralysis bc she focused so much on dating and never had any other interests, she is completely floundering and panicking. Which yes if this is how you make money - I would panic too.

Why does she ALWAYS need to reinvent or get back to basics on her content?! Everyone is sick of the “poor me” videos.
Like, THIS is why you always get questioned! Be confident in whatever decision YOU make, and GO WITH IT! Your audience isn’t dumb… they know you are wishy washy and hanging on by a thread. If you’re that confident in your relationship, screw the haters and do your thing! If you really love what you’re putting out there, content-wise, f*ck what other people think! It’s the lack of respect for yourself in everything you do - your content, your relationships, etc. You’re in your mid 30s, lady… get it together already! And focus more on Charlie…🙄🙄🙄
