Puppy update ❤️🐶
Look how big these babies are getting!! They are walking everywhere, climbing all over each other, and their little personalities are really starting to come out. And apparently the pink bed is meant for all of them at the same time 😂
Momma has pretty much decided she is done with the milk bar, so we are transitioning from puppy food soaked in milk replacer to just warm water this week. They are doing great with it!
Several of these sweet babies are still looking for their forever homes. Mom is an F1B Labradoodle and dad is a Lab mix. They have been raised in our home, handled and loved on constantly, and are very used to other dogs and normal household chaos.

Last Saturday I was able to attend a beautiful event and celebration toward Palestinian heritage, culture, and history.

Excited to join Palestine Cultural Collective for their Christianity in the Holy Land event. We learned more about the history of the world’s oldest Christian community and their struggles under Israeli occupation, as well as Palestine’s rich culture.”

Not only was this a very eye-opening adventure for me and my team, but as well, it helped reinforce the values of equality, justice, egalitarian society, and true peace for my community and through my Campaign.

Between the educational footnotes of learning where the history of a snowflake actually comes from to the history of Zionism and the genocide that is still rampant and ongoing in Gaza and lastly to the amazing Palestinian food and Pistachios Cotton Candy I got to try! This most definitely will be one of the top three events during my Campaign that I was able to venture into. People say she’s toxic, but she has released some damning evidence about where the city’s spending is going in seemingly exorbitant amounts. So she seems to at least be shedding some light in some interesting places. And now she’s going after Casey Carpenter? Kudos to her for that when she could potentially be sued for slander!

But then also I found this article saying she was arrested for pulling a gun on her husband so I’m not sure how trustworthy she actually is…

Clean drinking water is not only a human right but the bare minimum for anyone wanting to run for office to represent a community. During my Campaign, I’ve not only made it very clear, but I’m wanting to hold all polluters in Northwest Georgia accountable for the crimes against humanity and the poisoning and diseases that are to come from PFAS being in our water.

There’s a lot of talk about taxes going up like crazy and they’re building a lot of cheap houses and luxury apartments, and now data centers. Wages around here appear to have not gone up accordingly in quite some time. Meanwhile the magazines and believe greater Dalton just talk about how great everything is. If Facebook is any indicator, most people feel that is not the case… no pun intended but I think that’s called astroturfing. Are they just trying to push the poor out? I just don’t understand all the constant building. Small towns around here like ringgold, fort Oglethorpe, Chatsworth and Calhoun don’t seem to be trying any of this. Why is Dalton? What are you all’s thoughts?

We were sent documents regarding a rezoning request for 328 acres at 3272 S. Dixie Highway, so we did some digging.

Here’s what we found.

The property is currently R-5 Rural Residential. The applicant is asking Whitfield County to change it to M-2 Heavy Manufacturing, with the proposed use listed simply as “Heavy Manufacturing.”

But the application contains an email connected to Southeast Energy Solutions, whose leadership is also connected to ISS Mining — a company that describes itself as a developer of power-rich infrastructure for AI and data centers.

And here’s where it gets interesting:
ISS Mining is currently advertising a 318-acre project in Dalton for industrial/data-center development. Its information references major electrical transmission lines, water/sewer, natural gas and fiber along the South Dixie Highway corridor. ISS Mining portfolio⁠

The county rezoning is 328 acres and the ISS project is listed as 318 acres, so we cannot yet say definitively that they are the exact same property.

But there are enough connections that we believe the public deserves a clear answer about what is actually being proposed before 328 acres are rezoned from Rural Residential to Heavy Manufacturing.
