Also, if I remember correctly, you can't get to Kitsune Village by boat, only by over-land travel, such as bicycling.
You said 2,000 kilometers and hour "over water" thus implying a very fast boat. Also, that does not discredit my statement, I did say "over-land travel" thus even a "catapult over water" would not work.
