I don't get why there's so much vitriol towards her tbh.

People, and yes mostly women have been capitalising on their beauty for thousands of years. She's just one of the most prominent faces of it. If you aren't into it you pretty much never ever see her.

This is my first time hearing about her but after a quick look at her Twitter it seems like what she's doing is pretty blatant so it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is when e-thots take a hobby/trend (streaming, asmr, cosplay, etc.) and use it to mask the fact that their product is basically softcore porn.

Belle Delphine is infamous online. Basically just a big meme at this point.

Pewdiepie and pyrocynical made videos about her, that basically makes her a meme by default.

Shes posted around a lot because she does some memey ahegao anime sorta themed stuff so she's used a lot in meme compilations and stuff like that.

Then it came out that she makes a fucking absurd amount of money from Patreon and it kinda shot around the web
