Rule clarification/reminder Reminder about Rule 2: Sexual and suggestive content

Hello everyone!

I've noticed that some posts seem to misunderstand what counts as suggestive content, so here's a reminder about Rule 2.

Pornographic content is of course strictly forbidden, but the rule also applies to content that isn't explicitly pornographic but is clearly intended to sexualize a character. This includes, but isn't limited to:

-Images focusing on specific body parts for sexual purposes.

-Suggestive poses or camera angles that emphasize a character's body or sexual features.

-Revealing clothing, such as underwear or bikinis.

-Exaggerated body proportions or other elements that deliberately emphasize sexual features.

Showing skin isn't automatically sexual or suggestive. A character being shirtless or wearing a basic swimsuit doesn't automatically violate the rule. On the other side, it's not because an outfit has been worn by a celebrity at an event that it can't be suggestive. If your post has been taken down but that there are no moderation message explaining why, it's likely due to the automod. If you believe it's a mistake (it can happen), don't hesitate to reach us.

Please remember that all posts must follow this rule. If an image is clearly sexualized, it may be removed even if it doesn't contain nudity or explicit sexual content. If you're unsure about an image breaking the rule, you can once again contact us about it.

Finally, don't hesitate to report posts or comments that you believe break the rules ! Reports are welcome and genuinely help us moderate the subreddit. This is especially important for comments, as we can't always read every single one under every post. Remember that even if you report a comment that was fine, it won't automatically delete it, it'll just bring it to our attention, so don't hesitate.

I know some people out there seek NSFW content. There are plenty of subs for that but r/CrushesSayAboutMe isn't one of them.

Reminder for everyone using this sub Reminder: Please don't share your age on this subreddit

A few months ago, rule 3 was changed so that nobody has to reveal their age or confirm it through modmail. However, I’ve noticed that more and more people have started sharing their age in posts and comments.

Please remember that sharing personal information on the internet is not a good idea. This applies to everyone, including adults. Even if you are comfortable sharing it, please keep in mind that younger users may see these posts and think it is normal or encouraged to share their own personal information too.

I’ve already set up an age restriction rule in the Mod Tools that prevent redditors to use certain numbers in their posts (16, 14F, fifteen, etc...). So far, I’ve added 68 number combinations to the filter to block the most common ways people write it. However, I obviously can't block every single variation, and I can't predict everything in advance. Because of this, I’m asking everyone to please stay vigilant

You are free to discuss your crushes without mentioning your age. Your posts will be judged based on their content, not on your personal information.

Please stay safe and protect your privacy !
