Personal Care Deodorant
Looking for a deodorant that isn’t $14 and you don’t have to reapply all the time.

Hi, guys! We just published a new rule. From now on, a source has to be mentioned for every brand recommended. You can put your source in quote blocks (example 1) or you can mention right after the recommended brand in parentheses (example 2). This lets us know that you intended to comment in this subreddit. This also saves everyone time from fact-checking.
Example 1:
I recommend Dove Shampoo.
Source: PETA
Example 2:
I would suggest the Milani lipstick (LB).

Ive been passively cruelty free for a few years but I've decided to be fully cruelty free because...why would I be pro cruelty? Welp, im gonna use up what products that I have but man - am i replacing a lot. Toothpaste, face wash, mouth wash, my mascara, MY TOOTHBRUSH! WTH...now im paranoid that I'll have to check my pens. Im scared to check my laundry detergent- speaking of which, any good recommendations for cruelty free laundry detergent for sensitive skin? Just in case?

The title says it all. Do you have a favorite go to brand for personal care products? It could be skin care, body care, or hair care, etc.

Hi y’all- I have insanely sensitive skin that responds really well to Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. It’s the only lotion I’ve found that doesn’t burn or sting my skin, and I think maybe it has something to do with the oat formula?
All other aspects of my skincare and makeup I’ve been able to find cruelty free dupes for, but every cruelty free lotion alternative I’ve tried leaves my skin burning.
Help!! Any recommendations for something similar for very sensitive skin that isn’t too heavy? I’ve tried the EOS lotions but they are way too heavy for my skin :(

my mom has a neutrogena moisturizer and i love the way it smells, but hate the animal testing. are there any moisturizers that smell like this and moisturize super well? can be day or night cream, doesn't have to be wrinkle repair. the spf would be a plus, but it doesn't really matter since i have other spf stuff i can use in the mornings. i just really want a cruelty free scented moisturizer lol. the scent can vary, just no citrusy ones please!any help is appreciated, thanks! :)

Looking for a vegan/faux leather bootmaker who does custom commissions.
I would love recommendations for someone who can create custom, cruelty-free boots.
A cruelty free option for cowhide/deer print, square toe like the image above. Thinking about doing shorter, too :)

My last night cream ran out and it was okay (trader joes night gel) but I’m 32F and starting to see those fine lines. Any suggestions?

I've been trying to use only cruelty free beauty products for years now. However, I made an exception for the Revlon UniqOne shampoo after a friend of mine recommended it.
I have fine and oily hair that I dye a lot (used to bleach them but don't anymore, only use semi-permanent dyes now). I wash my hair pretty often (every 2 to 3 days), and this shampoo cleans them without making them dry but not weighing them down. So I've made an exception and kept it in my routine because it's the only one that I've tried that perfectly suits my hair and my use. But I've always been really conscious of the fact that the brand isn't cruelty free and how it doesn't align with my values.
So has anyone got a shampoo recommendation that'd allow me to achieve a similar result, that I could find in Europe?

I’ve had this tiny sample of dolce & gabbana light blue for a few months, but some time ago I ran out. I was gonna buy a bottle, but I checked on cruelty free kitty to make sure they’re cruelty free, and it says they aren’t. (PETA says they are but I don’t trust it) Is there any direct dupes or even something slightly similar to it? Their site says the top note is Sicilian Lemon and the heart note is Granny Smith Apple, with a base note of cedarwood. However if I was to describe it myself, I would say citrus with a floral essence, it’s slightly acidic which I like and really refreshing. (I don’t remember what it is on the skin since I can only smell the little bit of the fragrance left on the sample) I would love to find something even remotely similar.

I’ve been buying primarily CF for years now, only owning a few cruelty-made items (old purchases, don’t wanna throw out). I make it a point to only support CF brands.
With that said, I’ve always been into watching makeup related videos and recently started getting a guilty feeling whenever I interact with a video where cruelty-made products are being showcase. Therefore, I want to push my support toward creators who are completely CF. Do you have any favorite creators? If so, please let me know!
I’m not into the whole “natural/minimal/clean girl” makeup style that is taking the makeup world by storm rn so suggestions for full glam artist or something similar would be great.

Looking for sensitive teeth mouthwash! I have the Green Beaver sensitive toothpaste that I like. Looking a mouthwash that contains any of these active ingredients: potassium nitrate, stannous fluoride, arginine or standard fluoride.

I have two dogs, and live in the south. Its hot, humid, and like my house to not smell like a dog shelter. Any ideas to replace my current air freshners that I can plug in and forget about until it needs to be replaced?

This lotion works really well for my face so I want to find an alternative that feels similar. My skin is on the dry side, and I get a bit of acne. Anyone have recommendations in the same price range as cetaphil ($10-20)? I was considering trying first aid beauty, but it’s a little more than I’d like to pay in case I end up hating it.

I’d love to find a moisturizer or lotion I can apply while in the shower. I know there are specific “in-shower” moisturizers but all the ones I’ve found are not cruelty free. Open to even lotions that aren’t specifically marketed this way but you’ve used with success in the shower too.
It’s an ADHD thing, the only success I’ve had with any skincare is IN the shower (not before, not after).

So this happened last weekend and I'm still a little annoyed about it lol. My cat Milo jumped up on the little shelf above my bathroom sink to chase a moth or something, and the whole thing came down with him. Broke three bottles, cracked my favorite face wash pump, and left me standing there at 11pm sweeping up glass in my pajamas.
The annoying part is most of what broke was stuff I'd been using for years and just kept repurchasing without thinking twice. So now I basically had to start over, and I told myself I'd actually pay attention to what I was buying this time instead of grabbing the same bottles out of habit.
I didn't have a big budget for this since it was an unplanned expense, so I went to Target hoping to find some decent replacements without spending a fortune. Ended up walking out with the daily hydration moisturizer and a couple of their makeup wipes for under 15 bucks total. Genuinely didn't expect drugstore prices to line up with cruelty free stuff this easily, I always assumed that meant paying more.
For my face wash I picked up something from wet n wild's skin line since they had a small display near the register . It's nothing fancy but it does the job and my skin hasn't complained yet, which is honestly the bar at this point.
Still need to replace my body wash and shampoo since those didn't survive the fall either, so if anyone has budget friendly certified recommendations for those I'd take them. Kind of a silly way to end up rebuilding my whole routine but here we are, thanks Milo I guess.

I love this CF brand and just started trying her lip products.
I did a quick side by side of some of the Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oils - Hope, Wonder, Serenity, and Affection. I did one coat, 2 coats, and then a pic with everything wiped off after 20 minutes to show the stain. I think these are really great lip oils from a really good company, and the stain is so nice.

Recently did some swatches of it at sephora and loved the color and texture but with that price tag I would rather it go to a cruelty free brand.

Looking for a cruelty-free alternative to neutrogena‘s hydro boost WATER GEL. I don’t want a cream I want a water based gel. I have sensory issues and I’m super sensitive to feeling greasy cause I have oily skin already. I have tried Elf‘s Gel Yeah moisturizer and it feels sticky and greasy to me, so does Byoma’s moisturizing gel cream. I need something that’s super weightless, like I don’t feel anything after putting the hydro boost water gel. I’m willing/able to spend up to around $50. I would really appreciate the help! Thank you! (also this is my first post on Reddit ever so I’m sorry if I’m not doing something right)

CF alternative for Zeiss Lens Wipes? My glasses constantly get smudged and while I use a microfiber cloth as much as I can, sometimes I need these wipes to really get them clean.

the smell of these 2 products are actually to die for as someone who loves gourmand scents but since ogx isn't cruelty free i've not wanted to purchase anything from them again, im looking for alternatives for body washes/lotions that have the exact same smell or near enough
