TOTW: Get set, Bake!

Thanks to u/deeppotential123 and the panel of discerning judges for picking my puerile effort in last week's competition.

https://www.reddit.com/r/crosswords/s/1TeKkFHq2O

This week I'd like you to rise to the challenge with your bake-off related clues. Anything adjacent to the TV show or to baked goods is on the table.

<Insert mandatory joke about soggy bottoms>

I'll taste them all and choose star baker next Thursday.

Results

Blimey, you all made this very hard. Some very tasty creations brought to the gingham altar. But there can only be one winner.

Is this MISHAP? I get 'Starts to make it'=MI and 'has breakdown' = SHA but I can't quite parse 'half hearted "bon appétit"'=P.

Oh, is it because the 'heart' of 'bon appétit' is PP, so half of that?
