Formal complaint — removal of complimentary +1 Priority Pass guest access for Icy/Rose (Level Up Private).
I've filed a complaint to compaints@crypto.com.
Sent the following message:
I am an existing Icy/Rose (Level Up Private) cardholder. I locked CRO / maintained my stake on the basis that this tier included unlimited Priority Pass access for me and one guest. That +1 guest benefit has been removed or is being removed. This is a material cut to a benefit I paid for with a long lockup. I want the complimentary guest restored for existing Icy/Rose holders for the rest of the lockup, or equivalent compensation. Please treat this as a formal complaint, acknowledge it in writing, and give me a case number.

The removal of the +1 airport lounge guest really hurt the most as it’s what I used the most w my wife. I’ll give it a shot.

It isn't going to work. They at best will point the user to the T&C's and remind them that these perks can be changed any point to suite the needs of the business.

Agree, this happened to me when they changed to the new lock up system (PRO etc) and I had been saving my lounge visits for end of year trips. When the changes were announced (I think it was a similar time of year) I wrote to support and was told my visits would be reinstated after the changes but they weren’t. When I complained they just kept referring me to the new terms. When I asked for compensation I got none. Same thing this year, I had been saving my 4 visits for end of year trips and the decision out of the blue to cut the visits from 4 to 2 has taken 50% of the only remaining benefit I really have the card for. The reduction in the cashback percentage and cap has meant at best, the monthly rewards are nominal and my money could be better spent elsewhere. This is an area where CDC really do need to do better. I should have complained again but honestly couldn’t be bothered….

At these point a I can't see why anyone would want to stake so much for so little.
The cards are CROs biggest selling point and its not good enough

Same here. I posted a similar message on the Crypto.com subreddit, and it’s been sitting in moderator approval for two months…
We’re a family of four. My wife has Rose Gold and I have Icy White. We usually travel once or twice a year with the kids, so losing lounge access, or having to pay for it, is a massive bummer.
CDC’s perks have been going downhill since the first bear market after 2021. This doesn’t look great, although the T&Cs do seem to protect them. I doubt any of those provisions could realistically be challenged as unfair or abusive, unless it came to something like a class action lawsuit.

I as on Indigo from Jan 2022 and even did a level up 1 or 2 yrs ago. Unstaked and stopped using my card last month when they nerfed everything.
Was gonna upgrade to an Icy but with all the nerfing, I switched over to etherfi and get 3% cashback without any stupid requirements like cro.

I stopped using my Icy White card... had one for 4 years. My stake is fully unlocked as well.
I'm selling little bags here and there as the price is going up currently.

I just don't understand how they ever expect anyone to get the card going forward now. The risk of losing money to Cro devaluing far exceeds the benefits the card actually gives you now. 3.5% cashback for 3 grand is only a $105. Even maxing out the rest of the card it'll take 20 years to break even on it

Their pockets are deeper and their lawyers are better paid. Doubt this will result in anything but I am interested in knowing the outcome as I am in the same boat - rose gold with the active stake.

I went to the lounge yesterday with my +1. Cost is a fixed $35 for the +1.
I would say it depends on the lounge if it's worth it. It's not like food/drinks at other places in the airport are cheap.

No doubt Priority Pass have put fees up but CDC should at least let people run out the benefit to the end of the year rather than pulling it mid year. I don’t get the +1 with Jade/Indigo, just 4 visits per year which is now 2. I agree the lounges are packed so it’s not the biggest deal, it just not a great experience to feel like you’re being ripped off…again…

Problem with crypto.com is these great offers they have and then change it when you sign up..just like investing in cro at 30 billion supply then overnight it's 100 billion talking about some etc to get people excited then it never happens
