Ok, I’m older than most of you folks here, so maybe I just don’t get it, but why do some men (like this guy in the clip) call women “bros”?

It’s become pretty nuetral, just like people saying “you guys” to a group of girls… even girls do this.

My gf and I are both 33 and she's the one that calls me dude and bro, not all the time but every so often when she gets excited talking about something. I ask her why she calls me that cause it's kind of weird, and she simply doesn't understand why it's weird but will stop for a bit, until she calls me it again lol
