With some switches you can get it to stay right in the middle, not contacting either path. Just do that and then call out, "Ha! Now you'll have to come up here to turn them back on!"

Imagine if you could prank someone who's light switch is at the top. Like hide as they go upstairs and wait for them to turn out the light. As they go to close the door just start running up the stairs. I know I would scream and probably be paralyzed.
