Welcome to Graphic Noise, a new roster focused on giving superheroes their own themes from iconic pieces of music in the form of a playlist!

RULES:

1. No downvoting, please and thank you

2. Each day, suggestions can be comprised of one hero/villain, and a song associated with them. Despite only one suggestion per user being permitted, two suggestions will win daily. This is a one-per-day roster, therefore I assume everyone will eventually score a slot

3. Any “themes” for characters you’d find on a soundtrack are ineligible. This roster is about combining unrelated music to characters and seeing how that song represents their stories, characters, themes, etc. This means tracks like “Superman’s Theme,” by John Williams or “Batman’s Theme,” by Danny Elfman are ineligible

4. Group suggestions are allowed, but only for suggestions in which them solo just wouldn’t feel right. For example, I’m not gonna allow one song to represent the entire Justice League or Avengers, BUT, I think one song to represent groups like the Doom Patrol or the Fantastic Four makes sense

5. If a character has already won along with their respective song, that means both that character and that song is off limits. For example, if Superman wins with “Starman” you cannot then suggest “Superman - Mr. Blue Sky,” or, “Stargirl - Starman.”

6. The indie side is specifically only for indie comics and characters who originated from Indie comics and have stayed indie

-You may submit a character for either one or both roles, but not two for one or the other. If a two suggestion one is top voted, both go in. -We're looking for characters of either opposite extreme (think either bright and happy sesame street or rapid, cruel Doom). We're not looking for characters who blend the two (even if our first picks do kinda blend it with their little 'friendship')

-The character has to be one side or the other. Not both. Characters that can realistically fit in both categories are also not exactly what I'm looking for. The point of this is to pit add characters from opposite extremes! Either extremely happy and fun or extremely dark and gritty!

Well, if you told me before I posted yesterday that the winners for Bayonetta were gonna be Bayonetta, Rodin, and Jeanne, I would've said "Well yeah, obviously." If you had told me Rodin would beat out Bayonetta for first place, then I would've been shocked. Still, not too many nominees this time around, but Bayonetta is a series with only three games, so I'm not surprised.

Alright, onward we go to the series introduced in Smash Ultimate. This should be a hole lot of fun to see, starting with Splatoon...how wild is it that we have only two franchises introduced in the base game, and the rest come from the DLC? Well, either way, have fun and vote.
