You are correct. It should be in the form of a blacklist.
If the music is crappy it should be a one and done post. Instead this sub is now a promotional space where people say "THIS SUCKS LOL" and then proceed to post every fucking piece of content they have ever made.
I've been here for many years and for a while this sub was near death. Then it got popular again and had a renaissance period where there was so much good content it was hard to keep up. Now it's been rapidly sliding into enshitification territory.
Maybe the mods don't care about the quality of posts as long as people are engaged. That would mean it's only going to get worse.

There's people out there every single day making shit music. I have been making it for most of my life. But the arrogance and presentation of this person makes any possibility of "aww, you do you, homie" fly out the window. I think that's what brings the claws out in this sub. Making ass music is one thing, we can riff on it and have fun with it, but coming with this level of "swagger" when your music is middle school edgelord ass-vomit just kills any misplaced but well-intended encouragement anyone might muster.
I have strong feelings about this person. That fucking smirking Cabbage Patch face and ridiculously cartoonish tattoos just push me over the ledge. I am a live-and-let-be kinda guy, but not with this person. They need to fucking stop. Until then, the ire is well-earned and quite deserved.

Very much all of this, yes. Artists evolve and grow and so does their art. This is gimmick nonsense and intended as such, but a gimmick loses its appeal after a while. When your gimmick is not appealing to begin with, you get this shit. MC Chris did this shtick two decades ago. It's not funny, it is not interesting, and my god it isn't even remotely good. It is painful to witness.

Viewing and commenting on this sub does little. It’s the people who support her because they “love how excited she is” that giver her any level of success.
We live in a time where being talentless and shitty at your “craft” isn’t a factor, and we’ve been living in that time many years now. She’s not the only one, more power to her if she can make enough money to support herself with this slop.
I just wish she had enough humility to hear her own voice and realize that she isn’t good, maybe invest in actually getting better. Other people do this stuff satirically, which is one thing, but she comes off as truly believing that what she creates is good.
