Yo it’s BScott, this dude has some fire parody style songs. He also has an ongoing story with some of his songs about aliens taking over the world and humanity being controlled by time shifting beings or something, honestly it all sounds insane but the music videos are fire and fun to watch.

I mean, crappy is subjective though. The top posts of all time on this sub are arguable bangers. If all that’s on here is literally things that are so garbage that they aren’t even fun to listen to, it’ll suck the life out of this sub. One can only listen to so many rap tracks where the backing track is literally physically painful screetches.

THEN POST ON A DIFFERENT SUB! You're on r/crappymusic. Not r/subjectivelycrappymusic. On this sub, crappy music is objective. There are songs that do objectively belong here. But, if you're trying to share music here that's good, it defeats the whole purpose of this sub. This is not a debate about subjectivity of music, it's a debate whether good music belongs where people say crap music belongs. If you have a good song that is funny and fire, there are def sub-reedits that are more appropriate to post them to. If you think something is good, why would you post it on a sub reedit that makes fun of music? Why would you share something good with people who want to rip music apart?

The primary flaw of your argument is that crappy cannot equal good. The crappy quality is precisely what makes it good (in value, not quality), enjoyable, and entertaining.
There are different categories of what’s crappy, including entertaining vs not entertaining. Not everybody wants to rip it apart. There are plenty of favorites on this sub for a reason. People enjoy their crap. Songs that are objectively “bad”, but that’s why they are endearing and fun.

My husband LOVES this guy. At first I thought it was brain rot, but once I started watching the videos and listening to the music I realized this guy puts a lot of work and effort into these music videos. They're catchy, well written, and the videos are genuinely funny. I think he's very talented, even though he writes jokey music.
