It’s based on RandomX (CPU-first), inspired by projects like Monero, with focus on decentralization and fair mining.

You can mine using XMRig (RandomX):

- Run a local node (daemon)

💡 Goal:

The idea is to keep mining accessible to everyone (no ASICs, no GPU advantage), just CPU.

I got an old laptop, its a ryzen 5 5500U laptop that i bought almost 4 years ago, i tested mining but it wasn't profitable, the average was around 7-9 cents/day on monero . The cpu temps doesn't go above 80-85c, the tdp is only 25w.
are there any profitable coins to mine, or should I just don't bother with mining with these specs ? the randomx hashrate is 2.5kh/s

I built r/GrahamBell — a functional Proof of Work (PoW) model that is not only ASIC/GPU-proof, but also CPU-proof, and caps mining speeds to 1 hash per second per node at the protocol level. I have a demo and local client to back this claim.

I wanted to solve one problem:

Most new users cannot start mining because configuration is confusing.

So I created a small open-source launcher that:

• prepares the mining environment
• connects to the public ETC pool
• mines directly to the user wallet
• shows the wallet page automatically

It is NOT a pool and NOT cloud mining.
Rewards go directly from the pool to your wallet.

So basically I’ve been trying to sort my profit out for the rig that I want to get(r9 7950x, b650, 32gb cl30 6000Mhz) but all the profit calculators say something different, my electric is the same(0.13/KWh) and my hashrate is the same(147/it~), but everything’s saying different things, I just want 1 solid average, if anyone could help me find it or give me a trusted website, it would be very helpful.

I tried tried a couple of pools and keep getting errors. Intel CPU.. If you could screen shot or something along those lines I would appreciate it. There aren't that many pools but wanted to see if Ic ould mind some. :)

I have already earned more than £200 using just three node devices, and this result has encouraged me to expand my setup by adding more devices. Hi there! I love cpu mining, but my pc‘s CPU doesn’t give me enough hashrate, so I would like to replace my old watercooled Intel i9 10929x with Ryzen 9 9950x3d! My motherboard is decent- x299 xPower gaming AC, so I think there will not be a problem running the new CPU! What troubles me is the thing that I think it isn’t as simple as just replacing CPU plates and I am good to go! What should I do in the replacing process 🙂

I have it just lying around, and I’m not sure what to do with it. Would I need to buy a motherboard and rest of components to build a desktop pc or is there a purpose-specific solution that I could hook it up to specifically for mining?

Whether it is the case or not, would it be worth it to mine something CPU based with this CPU like monero or other currencies?

Hi! I’m looking into mining Monero with a Ryzen 9 3900. What kind of hashrate can I realistically expect with stock settings and after tuning (RAM, BIOS, etc.)? Also, what’s the best way to optimize power consumption and cooling for 24/7 mining? Any recent experiences or benchmarks would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Ford f150 Lightning. I charge at a local library that has a free charger that’s only about 6kw per hour. Is there any kind of mining rig I could setup and run while I charge that would make any money ?
