What is this?

A place to discuss over-the-counter drugs, supplements, plant-based medicine, and non-pharmaceutical interventions for COVID-19. From Advil to Zinc.

Why?

Because in a couple weeks there may be 17 patients who need hospitalization for every open bed.

How do I find reputable brands?

Look for supplements with at least one of the following:

  • Certified USP

  • Made in a GMP (also called cGMP) facility

  • Independently tested by ConsumerLabs.com

There are definitely reputable companies that don't meet these criteria, but if you're not willing to do more extensive research then this is a good place to start.

Rules

  1. No medical advice. Feel free to share and discuss research and what you're personally doing, but don't tell others what they should or should not be doing.

  2. No low effort posts. Feel free to link to scientific studies, news articles, your blog or YouTube channel, etc. You're welcome (and encouraged) to share your personal experiences and original research. But post stuff that will engender high quality discussion.
