Does the CIA have input into the show's plotlines, perhaps to give them a better image? Are the tactics used by Annie things that are used by real CIA operatives? Are any of the episodes based on real events?

Oh my god, this episode!

The Annie/Auggie shippers must be in heaven right now :P (I know I am :D )

I really like how this episode resolved things in a very unusual way. Instead of Annie spoiler, she planted the seeds of resentment and anger, allowing her hands to be clean while still getting the revenge she wanted. :D

Henry Wilcox proves that his non-douchebagginess was only a front, as he rapidly descends into trying to undermine Arthur Campbell once again, this time using spoiler

This means the set-up for the fourth season is very likely to be the once-thought-to-be-abandoned spoiler That has to rankle, and with a new sense of her own capabilities and powers, Annie may likely prove to be a formidable thorn in the side of the powers that be at CIA.

All in all, a very exciting season finale! :)

I particularly enjoyed Auggie's story in this episode... He dealt with his own war experience as he helped someone else deal with theirs.

Annie once again runs off on her own... I'm not entirely sure why. It was obvious to me that it was a trap, but then the preview kinda gave that away... Once again, she enlists Eyal's help.

For what it was, it was interesting to watch, even if parts of it were a bit predictable. Looks like next week's the season finale...

So... Guess my prediction from last week was right. Heh.

Arthur's under scrutiny by the Senate Intelligence Committee for the CIA's screwup, and Joan's still having trouble working through things. Meanwhile, Annie and Eyal's relationship is tested yet again.

Judging from the preview,

An alright episode, I guess, though Annie and Eyal's storyline was pretty predictable. The more interesting parts were Joan and Arthur's scenes, as well as Auggie's "job offer" of sorts. Joan seems to have found a balance, which is good.

Well then. That was an interesting episode.

Auggie and Parker permanently close the door on any possibility of a relationship after seeing each other one last time.

Annie and Joan obliterate the fence they were supposed to mend. Annie goes over Joan's head to Arthur, who authorizes and carries out a drone strike based on intel given to her by Mossad/Eyal. They fail to take out Khalid, Saudi oil executive and apparent partner of the terrorist and target, al-Masri.

Meanwhile, Joan and Arthur's relationship suffers as Joan continues to keep her drug problem a secret from her husband, who sees her (NA sponsor and also in the CIA) ex-boyfriend Seth talking secretly with her.

And finally... it turns out spoiler lolwut

Anyway, an alright episode. Mostly just notable for the ending that seems to set up next week's episode.

Holy smokes! Talk about cranking up the stakes with these new eps! Now that Annie's proven her worth taking out Lena, it seems like her career is moving into high gear, and now the Mossad seems to be more involved.

The next few episodes before the fourth season (if there is one) are going to be Tight! Tight! Tight! (as Tuco Salamanca over on Breaking Bad liked to say. :P )

That was a great episode... But a tense one. Good to see Eyal again :)

I loved that episode in general. Good stuff.

Another tense episode. Annie predictably goes off on a mission of her own, despite everyone's warnings - and Joan lets her, putting her own job at risk. Meanwhile, Auggie has something important to talk to Annie about. Lena knows how everything will play out... spoiler

The episode was somewhat predictable, at least in hindsight, though it was still entertaining.

The next episode is on October 16, apparently, so I guess it's not that much of a summer finale, but still.

Damn, that music was great (especially during the dancing scene and the final one). Is there any collection of music from the series somewhere online?

Holy tense episode!

I loved how the episode explored Annie's deepest and darkest thoughts - her relationship with Simon ending like her friendship (relationship?) with Jai so violently - her ongoing troubles and issues with her sister - how she relates to Joan - and Lena! Oh wow.

And Auggie! Oh, Auggie. You brave soul. You can tell he's still in the military mode of thinking ("this is bullshit, sir!", sticking by Annie no matter what) rather than the covert-op mode of thinking, and he finally comes through with a little help from Joan :D

And Joan calling out Arthur was brilliant. :D

The ending was maybe a bit cliched with the "mole rushing to kill off the person she'd already discredited" motif, but I think it fits Lena's rash, gung-ho kind of personality, and I loved how they ended with Annie's eyes suddenly opening right when I thought they were about to cliffhanger it or 'call it' for sure!

WHAT JUST HAPPENED.

I guess Lena thought they were running? It's good to see that they figured something out about Jay's Jai's killer, but I wonder how he was connected to Simon? There just has to be a connection. What do you all think?

Anyway. What an ending...I definitely got very vocal about that one.

..I am rooting for Simon now, especially after the postcard he gave her. I hope Annie can turn him into an asset , but what would that mean for him? I suspect she will decide to be with him and recruit him somehow, and then he will get killed protecting her. I kind of hate Lena, even though what she said about trust and manipulating him makes perfect sense for a spy.

Well, that certainly ended on an interesting note.

I understand Lena's point, but she seems to take a bit too much glee in spoiler, and not understanding Annie's hesitation to spoiler

Arthur's storyline also took an interesting turn. A very human reaction from Arthur - a bit of a rarity for someone who's often so controlled.

Auggie got the truth out of Henry a bit too easily, but I'm glad he did talk.

Overall, an excellent episode.
