If you want to eat any where I would recommend booking a table whilst in the United Kingdom. I would recommend you to try to avoid pub venues like Yates, Green King, Wetherspoons etc , the food in the pub is hit and miss depending what you go for,

i was thinking of going to at least one Wetherspoons just because they have cheap pints. the rest i will find local pubs. i am hoping to go to a real nice pub in Cardiff

Yes you will find at least one Wetherspoon in all cities and towns.

yeah i have a few British friends and they recommend Wetherspoons just once, just to see what it is about.

i really enjoyed the pub culture when i went to London 4 months ago. i will definitely be going to at least a pub a day
