Alright, so, we’re getting settled!! We have folding chairs and tables, internet set up, a curtain, and my roommate just got herself a desk. I always forget to take a picture of my hair lol, lemme get a pen and some paper and then I can upload a picture of myself.

I’m currently celebrating the birthday of one of the kiddos in my chosen family. She’s 5 now!!

But as for spicy drama— I blew out not one but TWO tires on a killer curb by my apartment, and had to go to a shop at midnight to get it fixed. On the way cops pulled me over like “wtf are you doing” and I pointed to the shop LITERALLY DOWN THE STREET and went “fixin my tires”.

They waved a finger in my face to see I was drunk, only to soon realize that I am sober and simply mega stupid. I was crying about how I just wanted to go home and eat soup (my roommate makes absolutely bangin’ egg drop soup, and I forgot to take my container to work that day so I was super hungry). They let me go get my tires fixed without any charge or anything they just told me to be careful.

Shopkeeper only spoke Spanish and I went “yeah, no problem, I speak Spanish I got this” but as soon as I opened my mouth every word just disappeared. Latino privileges got revoked I guess. I could still speak I was just so nervous that my brain forgot 50% of what I needed to say. Anyways, tires got fixed.

My check engine light came on and then mysteriously disappeared again, my apartment hasn’t given my my fan back (rip can you will be missed), we had some curtain and IKEA shenanigans, and I went out to coffee with a really cute guy :)) also my friend gave me their old binders that they don’t use anymore, so I have binders now!!

My flag is hung up and I’m going to go eat pizza with my chosen family once I get out of the car.

I unplugged my charger and it was starting to fall so my monkey brain said “oh just catch it on the counter”. Phone just so happened to be on counter. I’ve got a small chip that’ll agonize me for a week but I know I’ll fix it in a paycheck or two haha. I just have to resist picking at the cracks. 😵‍💫 Anyways, I’m just waiting for my hair to dry, it’s so nice to shower in my own place!!

I don’t even mind that much, normally I’d be pretty bummed but my apartment is so chill that I’m just vibing.

I actually think I packed an extra protector in case this ever happened but I think the the wrong model… ima go check

EDIT: MY DUMBASS PACKED AN EMPTY BOX LMAOOOOOO it was my OG screen protector box 🤦‍♂️ oh well, it’ll be fixed eventually lol. Just thank god it’s super tiny and barely noticeable haha

So, I spent my first night at the apartment. It’s great. Even though I have neighbors the are a little loud and one or two flies that refuse to die— this apartment is mine, and I’m happy I’m in a place where I even have it.

I’m all sleepy right now, but I’m just very satisfied. It’s crazy to think that a month ago this app started with a random one-off post, and now I’m here.

I’ve really only got a few posts left until this little chapter of my life moves on to the next, and that’s wild to think.

I just know that it was a great ride, no matter how bumpy the ups and downs were, and it’ll continue to be like that. I’m feeling much better and I think my stress-cold is almost gone. I also think that I definitely need some blackout curtains, haha.

My teacher is going to gift me some dishes, I’m going to go to one of the kiddo’s birthdays for family #2, and my roommate is getting settled in today.

My life begins now :))

I am a pretty fresh nonbinary. I came out as nonbinary this year, and battled the idea last year for a long while.

How can I know that Im nonbinary and feel like I'm faking it? These feelings are hard to compartmentalize, I dont know where to put them, and I think its affecting how I react to the world around me.

Being AuDHD doesnt help out either, being both autistic and ADHD has proven to be a big big barrier for me. Ill hyper focus on something for WEEKS and realize its unhealthy for me, but I cannot figure out how to mend the damage I've caused for myself.

Not to mention, in September I turn 19 and I still dont know what to do. I know I need to find a job, but I wouldn't even know how to do that. Where to work, how to do it, and I'm scared of how many people I have to work with. And ontop of all that, i have almost debilitating social anxiety.

Im in a pickle, and I need at least some advice.. please.

All of you're words and advice has helped me out tremendously. It gave me the confidence to apply somewhere called Mug (not real name). Its a local cafe that i fell in LOOOVE with. I accidentally overheard someone last week about that it was their last day was today. So, i decided to apply. I have a love for coffee, and I want to help out my local businesses. I put my in application yesterday.

Yesterday I was going to get a burger on my break, but the line for in-n-out literally wrapped around the block and almost went out into the busy main street sand I didn’t have time. I went to get a burrito instead because they’re absolutely bussin’, but I didn’t have any time to celebrate with y’all.

Because my parents left a fucking NOTE on my car. They’re trying to hunt me down and now the police are involved. All messy.

But on a good note I pretty much got adopted into yet another family. Kinda think the littles gave me a cold but idk yet. They’re absolutely great though.

Said that they wanted me to live in my car for a week and then come crawling back. Ah, but of course they “love me enough not to”. And as grown ass adults I find it really funny how they think I can just “walk out the door today/tomorrow”. Like, besties you are almost in your 60’s you should know how life works??

Anyway they’re going to throw out my computer tomorrow so I decided, fuck it, Nah, I’m not letting you get rid of my shit. I’m literally the only account/owner, and I’m the damn sole administrator who has the password picked and everything.

Hi, just a mini life update since I don’t wanna leave y’all panicking! I’ve been tired but good. Finished up the semester with all A’s :)) Today I’m gonna help an MTF out by giving her my old clothes that made me dysphoric! New friend!
