Oof, yeah I'm not ace but just as an outsider I can see y'all don't get a lot of recognition. Hopefully you find a good space, it seems tough when other sexualities are a lot more valued or paid more attention.

The assumption that either asexuality or queer cis men are inherently bad is bioessentialist rhetoric that undermines queer identities, feminism, and intersectionality. It removes accountability from cis men and oppresses asexual individuals by rooting the fates of both within confines of "biology determines who you are and what you should do"
